Seven is a good movie. I just rewatched it a month or so ago. There aren't too many nitpicky issues with it, and it has a solid soundtrack by rezner. I had to buy the movie tickets, my friend had a baby-face and I recall getting caught "smuggling" in snacks and drinks in my hoodie

Great story. I was dating a girl that worked at "Moovies". Yeah, a cow. I got a "Usual Suspects" Box set. Still have the lighter. I no longer have her, lol.

Another great movie. I was late to watching that, I think the hype put me off. Lighters cool momento. I saw johnny mnemonic I think same year as seven, definitely same theater. I was so close to walking out, I have not watched again

I was about the same age .. maybe 15-16.. saw it with a buddy from HS football team and we both JUMPED the fuck out of our seats at the sloth scene.

I was legitimately in the air for a moment.

My wife was working at Blockbuster when blockbuster switched from VHS to DVD.

Prices went down, down more. Down to a dollar at one point and she had this mile long printout list of what we could buy for a $1.


I got some great fucking movies. New movies in that time were probably $15ish... we were getting an entire box of movies for that price.

Probably still have a box or 2 collecting dust and mouse shit somewhere in my garage. When I got to the point where I stopped having a VCR hooked up they kind of faded to the deep dark obscurity of the nooks and crannies of my attic and garage

That "Usual Suspects" was a big deal, lol. They had a stand for it. $30 or so. I tried to steal all I could out of that place until it went under.

It's a great direction. That reaction to just a gasp is proof. As a whole the movie has great production, the darkness, the rain, the music and noise all very well done. Even the credits are executed perfectly to the tone and content

When I first watched it I hadn't watched full metal jacket yet. I didn't get R. Lee Ermy's voice. But I did recognize Shaft!
