The Bisping effect

LOL @ those still clutching so dearly to the Hendo knock out. It was years ago, and he has KO'd plenty before and after. Get over it. :-)

Are you kidding? I already liked Dan Henderson, but after giving us that beautiful gift his stock went way up with me. We just don't like Bisping man. And we would really appreciate it if Belfort can give us a similar gift that Dan gave us.

Seems pretty on topic though when it comes to "guys whose skin Bisping has gotten under."

LOL people only have to say Bisping's name in a topic and you ALWAYS get a few boneheads that instantly have to start creaming about that KO, putting the gifs up etc etc. I just guess at this point I am bored with it. Seen/heard it a thousand times.
You don't see Brits constantly going on about TUF season 9 every 5 minutes for example. Would be totally classless. :-)

Wasn't bisping a last-minute replacement, and Sonnen had been training for something else, then had a really tough weightcut? I remember him looking like death.

Also, didn't Bisping blatantly cheat in the Rivera fight, and never apologize for being a blatant cheater?

They were both set to fight on the same card and when Munoz pulled out of the headliner, they had Bisping step up. Not sure what you asking this has to do with anything, though.

Bisping's big wins on his resume are against: Stann or Leben

Vitor on the other hand has competed with top competition for the most part of his career (wins and loses)

Now both their records tell this: Vitor can hang with the elite and has done so more often. Bisping beats the fighters he should and loses to the elite.

We also know that Bisping has a tendency to get caught/ rocked by his opponents, though he recovers quickly, its a different story against top caliber opponents.

This will be the most interesting part of the fight for me.

Can Bisping finally get that big name win he badly needs? or will Vitor knock him out of contention? (pun intended)

LOL how is that pointless when you have been going on about the same punch for years haha
Thanks for proving my point by the way. :-)

Lol, you don't understand at all. The show had hand picked brits to win, and the best they could do was 2 forgetable fighters as the paper champs, 1 of which retired.

No, the real fight was the coach's fight, and it was one of the greatest knockouts of all time, and to top it off, it was the quietly bad ass knocking out the mediocre loudmouth. It was epic.

On top of that, it was further proof that bisping can't handle a-level fighters. Each time he fights good guys, he gets creamed. There is all kinds of proof of that inarguable fact, but none more visceral or entertaining as that gif. That is why the gif is relevant, and that is why it is awesome.

He has been finished once in his entire fight career. By a guy whom is renowned for knocking dudes out. What is your point? That is why you cling on so dearly to that moment and that gif. Its just childish at this point.
Also something is not inarguable just because you say it is. Sorry to burst your bubble there.
LOL @ the hand picked Brits comment. That is pure delusion if I have ever witnessed it.

Anyway, I am going to go browse some other topics. Not going to waste my time repeatedly banging my head against a brick wall. Especially on an internet forum. :-)

the fight being.in.brazil as opposed to.the uk or even.the us is kind of a deciding factor for me. usually the brazilians win in brazil or its very close.

You're looking too much into it. Rivera clearly got under Bispings skin way more than Bisping got under his skin. Miller wasn't fully prepared (not using this as an excuse to his loss, but rather a reason as to why he looked so terrible), Chael, eh....Chael just didn't look good. He didn't against Andy either. Maybe cuz he's off dem roids, idk. Stann looked the same.

Ftfy.

ah yes,the gif that shows dan henderson (with trt) trying to end someones career with a late and totally uncalled for late punch. not like he doesn't have previous for it.

There has never been a more called for punch in the history of punches.
