One of my favorite go-to film when i'm not on the best mood, what do you think of it?

I'm gonna rate it an 8.5/10, close to a masterpiece, very fun but could've been trimmed a bit to reach a 9.

Rare 10/10. Donnie probably being a hallucination makes even more mind bending. Coens said they wrote him as person and didn't realize how they shot it then said something along the lines of "it's not exactly wrong and possible on accident right" after Jeff Bridges supported the theory. They wanted to have made an imaginary character on accident

A goddamn masterpiece of a movie.

I will watch it later after I go find a cash machine.

Yup. Damn great movie

4 outta 5 stars. Solid soundtrack and insanely quotable. Doesn't touch Fink or O Brother imo. On par with Raising Arizona.

Love it. 9 for me.

A lot is due to nostalgia and quote spamming with the boys back in the day, but that can’t be helped.

The first half is a masterpiece, once he meets Jackie Treehorn and has that dumb ass dream sequence it loses a little bit it is still an all time classic that ole Pete will watch any time its on

6.4 Thumbs Up Outta 7

Would be a 7 Thumber but the first time I ever heard of In N Out was in that movie and I wanted to try it for years after that, what a fucking disappointment that turned out to be

The Jackie Treehorn scratch pad doodle is great.

9/10

I saw it in the theater when it premiered and my friends and I were all just kinda lukewarm on it.

But, almost 30 years later, we all quote it incessantly at it is in almost all of our top films list.

Any time any one of us ever talks about needing something or is worried about their dick after banging a skank the first quote out of any of our mouths is, "What'ya need that for, dude?"

I also use, "Condolences, the bums lost" quite a bit.

Seems every huge fan has that one quote they aim to throw in somewhere whenever given a chance.

Mine was if anyone would talk about war, and wanting the fighting to be over. Love to add “You know, Dude, I myself dabbled in pacifism once. Not in 'Nam of course”

BUT WE STILL WANT ZE MONEY

ITS UNFAIR

Probably a 9 for me. Easily one of my favourites.
A few years back me and a coworker found the movie but audio only. We’d play it at work all the time.
