Tom Hardy.

Hardy’s “supporting” role in The Revenant is bigger than his role as Mad Max in a movie called Mad Max, where the lead is Charlize Theron. There are many other examples of this such as Bane in The Dark Knight Rises and so forth.

Can you ever see this guy as a leading man carrying a movie on his own? He may be a great actor but he's missing that star power such as the likes of the DiCaprio's or the Cruise's of the world. He's one hell of supporting actor, though.

Women seem like they can't get enough of him. He's carried plenty of movies, just not many that were huge blockbusters. I will agree that him in a supporting role almost guarantees a very good movie and performance.

Its not a bad thing. Gary Oldman and Colin Firth have made a great career out of being mainly supporting actors

He was the lead in Lawless which gets my vote as the most underrated movie of the last 5 years. His character was so badass. He's one of the best actors today.

I thought he did a great job in Bronson, if you haven't seen it you should check it out.

Hardy will be a leading man soon enough. Im surprised he hasn't had more leading roles but hes taking good supporting parts and is carving out a solid career that I expect to blossom very quickly. Seems everyone likes him.

Lawless is one of the best movies made in the 21st century. It's crazy how underrated it is.

He's the only actor in the whole movie. Look at the casting on IMDB, other actors are voice only.
