I thought he just wore it so people don't see his lizard face. The story is a bit confusing. I have to probably rewatch it too.
Animation really is something else there. Plot is mediocre at best tho.
Frieren is really really good. It takes it time but the character development and overlapping story telling are excellent.
Maybe I need to give it a chance. I'm not a big fan of that art style. How are the fights? I like tactical smart fights like in JoJo for example
Solo leveling is one of the best looking mahnwas out there. RIP Dubu. The artist was also the CEO of the studio that made quality titles. I knew during the announcement that they won't be able to follow the exact art style but making the anime look like 60% of the mahnwa is a challenge by itself.
Such an incredible looking series, that then tanks it hard in the final arc. Such a disappointing final ~20 chapters. Still waiting how the anime will handle the big battles. There are no fights yet even in episode 2.

one piece is a beast indeed, I'm sure there are non filler faster versions available, I would finish the live action and start where it left off, not too much missing other than the anime version being more impactful. it does get progressively better, endless fun trying to catch up, amazing stuff, maybe one lame arc, and then some epic arcs in between.
