It's phenomenal that it's all hand drawn. Terrible shame that quite a few people who worked on it died in the Kyoto Animation arson attack. It's a tough movie you either feel it's a masterpiece or hate it.
The latest episode with Kenpachi has me excited. He is such a great character.

I didn't realize there were people who hated it (assuming you're talking about A Silent Voice). I imagine there are plenty of people who think it's a bit overrated. I'm not one of them though. I absolutely loved it
There are people who absolutely hate it, there are people who think it's overrated (Of course everyone has their opinions so that's fine) But for me I think it's one of the top 5 anime movies ever made.
You are like the only person I seen so far that continued with food wars. Everyone I saw online dropped it after a few seasons.
I look at them as the technical level of skill involved not so much the story, Akira was well ahead of its time for being a hand drawn masterpiece. Spirited Away is the same kind of deal, they used very little computer animation to try and make it as authentic as any other Ghibli movie. Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust is another I consider a masterpiece in terms of animation. A Silent Voice for me is phenomenal because of the story, the colour palettes and the music. Your name is just a beautiful looking film.
Attack on Titan are pretty good dubs, Deathnote as well. I feel like voice actors have just gotten better over time. A silent voice/your name are probably the best examples.
