Nah.

Woli is getting bagged after maybe a hard fight or almost koing Ricardo but he will give Ippo some discourse about enjoying what you do and going for your dreams to add to the pile of trivia hinting about Ippo's eventual return, probably culminating after Takamura can no longer fight due to accumulated damage or the eye issue.

No way George throws away over two decades of buildup for a side character to KO the P4P King....

Ippo is gonna learn that Ricardo has holes, and pick things up only because he developed as an analyst and a coach. He was also developing physically aswell. Another 5 years and Ippo will fight Ricardo lol.

Woli had way to much foreshadowing of him being a future champ for him to lose. He will win the championship belt, and he’s going to challenge Ippo, his only loss. That will get Ippo back to fighting. Especially when Ippo watched everyone else he beaten have success in the ring. Woli beating Ricardo would fired him up like a nuclear bomb.

Would never happen.

It doesnt work from a story telling perspective. I guarantee what I said in the previous post, happens.

Imagine how dumb the story telling would have to get for Ricardo to lose to a side character whose had a few chapters of the story....lol
 
I tried to venture out of my comfort zone and watch rentagirlfriend. This is what I gather from the first episode. The MC has no redeeming qualities and I felt bad watching it.

Yeah, but underdogs and dark horses are a part of life, and that is the role Woli is playing. You’re not supposed to believe he will win. He will win.

Nah. Stories aren't real life. This is something pre-planned and structured to elicit the maximum dramatic payoff. Having Woli win undermines like a decade's worth of storytelling momentum.
 
So my kids are into silly shit (Nichijou, Asobi Asobase, Chiyo School Road, etc) which I do enjoy watching as well. Rewatched FMA-Brotherhood for the 3rd time, this time with my daughter. I then asked her when we finished the series on where it ranked in her goat list. She wouldn't give a definitive 1. A tentative 1 or 2. After that, I rewatched Made in Abyss because season 2 just came out. It blew her mind.

I swear it gets better. Just get through the beginning. You will see Araki is ahead of his game and the progression in terms of his art and storytelling.

At least make it so you can see the outro for one of the seasons.

Initial Spoilers for OP 1056 are out and it looks like we have more back ground on Buggy becoming a Yonko , as Crocodile and Mihawk seemed to have aligned with him LOL , Buggy has somehow become so influential that he has put Bounties on certain Marines.

Golden Kamuy (whatever season we're up to)
Don't Toy With Me Miss Nagatoro Season 2

So many great shows are only a few months out from starting their new seasons.
