The main thing people bitch about isn't the story its JC Staff animation style. The drawings are fine but fights they animate are like slideshows because they make so many Animes at a time they can't stretch their resources. It happened with Edens Zero as well. I pray Edens Zero gets picked up by another studio.

i can see that. most of the complaints i saw was just bitching about how it wasn't just more of saitama punching everything... and bitching about it having an actual plot/character arcs (garou, king, etc).

it all seems ironic, given the obvious satire/mockery of it all.

I didn't really notice anything different when I watched it, it wasn't until people started bitching that it was like a slideshow in the fights that I was like "oh yeah it was" but otherwise I was just vibin and having a good time watching it.

He's still the same dude, just in a new body. In the manga his inner monologue is shown repeatedly as still being his adult form. He's not a young kid again, he's an adult in a child's body taking advantage of another child.

Anyways, I'm done with this particular topic.

I have no idea if the show itself is any good, but Escaflowne might have the GOAT soundtrack.



Other than that, Cowboy Bebop, Ghost in the Shell, Kids on the Slope, and basically anything else Yoko Kanno has ever been involved with is highly recommended.

Yes, it is very flashy. Good episode. The Hashira slapped some girl ass....oh yeah!

I get it but it's still a bit weird. If you became a 12 year old boy tomorrow but remembered everything about your life today would you suddenly be attracted to 12 year old girls? Personally I just hope it's written out of the story. It's unnecessary and I'm enjoying the show as it is.

But that is not what happened. He died. Then he was born again. I get it that her remembers stuff from previous life.

But what options are there? In life you do want someone around your age or younger if you are a guy. You can't really expect to be 12 and get a 20 year old GF unless you are in american publics schools.

Thanks for the reminder, I need to go read Dai Dark. It's Q Hyashida's new series since she finished Dorohedoro (in the off chance you haven't read that one you should). It's been on my list for a while but I keep forgetting about it. I hope it's as good as Dorohedoro.

How long has season 2 been out? I haven't been paying attention LMAO. Is it pass the train arc yet? Plan to finish up Jojo's new season and then start Demon Slayer. Debating if I should even start from Season 1 again to buy me some time and give me a refresher.
