Television The Anime and Manga Thread: v45

I do feel that they really cant make serious anime anymore like texhnolyze or ergo proxy or lain anymore.

Though this might be just my own psychosis lol
Oddtaxi is up there with the 90s and early 2000s stuff. I've been watching since early 2000s still plenty of enjoyable stuff.

Jojo
Jobless reincarnation
Ranking of Kings
Platinum end
The stuff I'm enjoying right now.

What I'm looking for is shows with tactical fighting like jojo or when shikamaru fights in naruto. Any recommendations sherbros? I heard hunter x hunter is like this.

The HxH manga definitely can have that tactical feel, I assume the anime adaptions would as well. The Tower of God webtoon, which is one of my all-time favorite shonen style series, has lots of strategizing in their fights so, again, I assume the anime adaption does as well.

...why did I type this out? Dude said I'm on his ignore list. Oh well.

Been wanting to watch these two. Haven't heard of oddtaxi going to check that out seems interesting.

Dorohedoro is probably one of the best ones I have watched recently, its on Netflix.

Gantz also forgot about Gantz

@JBSchroeds You read Nano Machine as well correct ? Well it's Vaulted up into my must reads for the week behind Northern Blade and Mercenary Enrollment. I was behind on Chapters but finally caught up to the point where he faces the poison Master.

Yup, it's one of my more looked-forward to releases. It's not without issues (at times the powerups can feel sort of unearned or coincidental) but I enjoy most of the characters and the art is consistently excellent.

If you're in the mood for a martial arts series with a good comedy streak check out Return of the Mount Hua Sect.

Yeah it's a little bit convenient to have him power up the way he is , but I like the back drop of revenge and the fact it's to get back at the characters that took out his mother, I don't mind . Good cast of characters. I like the idea that Nano can reverse engineer techniques and even improve on them.

Hinata was a definite favorite of mine 10-15 years ago, but I feel like I've aged out of the whole waifu thing.
