I don't have a political angle here, but whatever.
The Virginia governor obviously did this to to be a hassle for NRA leadership from out of state to come to NRA headquarters. Other than the fact that the current Virginia governor is a petty partisan, there is literally zero justification for such an action.Virginia Governor backs off of CCW reciprocity stance

Georgia lawmakers have put forth several gun control bills this year, including a measure that would call on law enforcement to seize and destroy what the proposal deems “assault weapons” from gun owners.
The bill states, “Any person who possesses any assault weapon or large capacity magazine on July 1, 2016, shall have until October 31, 2016, to accomplish any of the following actions without any prosecution under the law:
(1) Modify such assault weapon or large capacity magazine to render it permanently inoperable or such that it is no longer an assault weapon or large capacity magazine; or
(2) Surrender such assault weapon or large capacity magazine to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for destruction pursuant to this part.”
Good thing VA is an open carry state. The Virginia governor obviously did this to to be a hassle for NRA leadership from out of state to come to NRA headquarters. Other than the fact that the current Virginia governor is a petty partisan, there is literally zero justification for such an action.
Not sure if serious????As a former ar15 owner i am fine with an assault weapons ban. I have always prefered rifles and shotguns over handguns but honestly, giving up assault is such a 1st world problem. Besides, when the shit goes down, nothing beats a semi auto shotgun filled with slugs.
I stopped reading at "every town for gun safety".What happened is all we want is compromise from the anti 2nd people especially the Bloomberg organization.

I'll duel you with an AR15 against your shotgun any day. You will lose every single time, 100/100.As a former ar15 owner i am fine with an assault weapons ban.
