That's just few of the brands and intellectual properties that came from the other years (most of that shit spun off into comics, video games and just faces you saw on posters, magazines and talk shows). I don't have the entire day to list all the music (and a lot of this movie list applies - TMNT theme, RoboCop theme, etc.). 1980 had the "Miracle on Ice" at the 1980 Winter Olympics. NY Islanders became Stanley Cup champs 4 years in a row in 80, 81, 82, 83. 1981 spawned the first computer virus. Also, the Golden Age of Arcade Gaming is listed to have ended in 1983. For whatever that is worth.
A ton of iconic stuff happened in those years. I might even argue more iconic than the years you mentioned.
