Social 'The 4 Horsemen Cometh' billboard sign

That's usually your line on these kinds of things right? Keep politics out of business?

I stay away from these threads, so I had no idea what it was about....but for sure. I wouldn’t associate my business at all with the fresh faces

Do the politics shit after 5

I had no idea that there were so many Liberals and Antifas on Sherdog lol..

I have a feeling it's mostly Californians.. That state is turning into a 3rd world country because of Liberals..

On top of that, those Liberals are fleeing that shithole in record numbers to Conservative states..

I'm glad I live on the opposite side of the country.. Those bus tickets cost a little bit more to get to Carolina.. They can't afford to make it here and the ones who do show up with their tents get their asses kicked by our sheriffs and sent right back to the dump they came from..

We don't tolerate Liberals here too much...

"A gun store's billboard targeting the congresswomen known as the 'Squad' is coming down"

"The billboard is being removed and another has already been designed, according to Danny Coleman, a salesman for the billboard company Allison Outdoor Advertising. Wacholz changes the signs at that particular billboard about every three weeks, and the most recent had only been up since Tuesday, Coleman said. The signs in the past also have been political, Coleman said. It broke our hearts that the controversy happened. Freedom of speech is a right. Unless it is something illegal or offensive, we use our best judgment and let it go. It is tragic what happened."

Get your head out of the sand. Combining the religious imagery of bringers of the apocalypse with an advertisement of guns is just irresponsible.
What do you think about invoking the god of an explicitly anti-Semitic religion when talking about how evil the jewish state is?
iu

Do you think it's irresponsible for a congressman to do that?

Same people that are offended by Confederate monuments. No, Ft. Bragg (U.S. Army), NC, is not changing its name. Named after Confederate General Braxton Bragg.

That always seemed more an odd choice cause Bragg was an awful general.

Most Generals in the Civil War were somewhere between sub-par and god awful. Lee and Grant were the two exceptions to this, hence the reason they wound up being the guys in charge of their respective sides.

A gun shop using pictures of politicians in thier advertizing makes me a little uncomfortable but it doesn't seem like nefarious intent.

as long as its not calling for violence or racist, its fair game, just like the Trump baby stuff.

frankly there should be more insulting of politicians, not less.

Well, Grant wasn't always in charge of the Union Army now was he? He was Lincoln's 6th choice. Lee was always in charge of the Confederate Army. The South definitely had the better officers, even though they lost the war. Not due to leadership but men and resources.

Why is everyone quoting the 4 horseman stuff as if they hadn't heard of it before, it's so ubiquitous it's even a world of warcraft boss and they're in x-men cartoons and everything, it's a really common expression not some unearthed witticism.

Robert E. Lee was woefully outnumbered, he had nowhere near the resources or supply lines, and he still held his army together. The Civil War was by no means a sure victory for the Union for the first two and a half years perhaps. The Union suffered several grievous defeats in the first few years and if not for Gettysburg? If not for losing Stonewall Jackson? Who knows?

But even after it was a lost cause they kept fighting and that's something I respect. Many of those men weren't slave owners and it makes me sad that history likely view them through that lens. Many of them were dirt poor fighting for their homes and their families and for states' rights.
