Well, dropping potentially infinite likes down to 25 per is already gonna be a big hit to interest. What am I, a video game grinder who has to get on each day to meet my "dailies?" If I was a guy who was opening Sherdog looking specifically for that red square, then this move would have sank all my care to return. So fuck it, just strip em anyway. The people who stay are the ones who actually wanna talk.

It was either remove likes or remove a few of the f'n popups or ads but we all know it was the likes that bogged down the site. :D

Standalone forums of specialist subjects have either a committed group of knowledgeable experts, or, a playground of post idiots because a website scrambles for ways to keep things buzzing.
You end up with Sherdog.

Sherdog used to be half decent but now I'm here for the windup.

In fact, I usually hang around kickboxing sub because it's better quality.
Why? Because of less interest and more committed fanship.

Some people paid some people off having already 1000+ likes in a day.

We are being scammed.
 
The upside to this is that traffic will drop quite a bit so no lagging during fights.

Trolls that have joined and set up multiple accounts to like their own posts will go elsewhere to get their fix.

That said I had a hell of a time writing this post due to the ad popups cutting off my keyboard on my tablet ....
