My girlfriend who is 20 minutes south lost power twice. Shit is getting real.

Can any Sherdog Spanish speakers translate?

Let me take a shot at this while waiting for @Rod1's translation.

- "What the fook is that?! A mermaid swimming on the third floor??"
- "No, fool, it's a merman! Notice how he maneuvers around the corners with much better precision."

power os still on in Lakeland. just some heavy bands of rain so far.

"Merman...(cough!)...MerMAN!":)

This isn't nearly as bad as what was initially forecasted.

-First half is unintelligible cuban gibberish

-Second half is

"Look at that compadreh, it took down the house"
"It broke it apart and on top of that is going to take it away"
"Its going to blow it away, blow it away"
*As its being taken away*
"Look, look, lets go, lets go" (dont know how to translate vamos, vamos expression in this context, its similar to mexican andale, andale)
*points towards the yatch in the background*
"Look at the yatch that was next to the trailer"

Cuban Spanish is pretty colorful and hard to translate (imagine American southern or Cockney), so thats my best.

The weird thing is that there isnt fear in their voices, i would be panicked as shit, but then again im not Cuban or Floridian.
