Safarov is a can. Guy had 2 fights in 4 years before the UFC.


0 fights in 2013 and 2015, 1 fight in 2012 and 2016 each. There's better Russian fighters who are actually accomplished, not sure why they signed Safarov of all people.

For sure that was a masterclass in submission by Tyson Pedro. It reminded me of Royce Gracie in the early UFCs. Safarov had no idea what was happening while Pedro was setting up that Kimora and subsequently tapped.
