Far too long has Merab cheese-spammed moves and coasted to questionable wins thanks to his wrestling heavy anti fighting. Tonight his grappling wasn't efficient, Yan neutralized him completely.

Merab getting his face beaten to a bloody pulp was well deserved for all the anti fighting over the years.

He is the equivalent of a button masher in the fighting game world (Merab). You know, that dude that pushes all the buttons in hopes to overwhelm their opponent and win sometimes. What Yan did was masterful and highly techincal. He countered well, varied his striking targets, stuffed almost all his tds, bruuuutal fuckin bodywork, and just straight up sonned Merab like no one before.

Props for even taking him down so much


Yan is the antidote to spam wrestlers, I'm impressed as an mma fan by his game plan and fight iq. Plus the speed and reflexes. He leveled up tonight.

Umar vs Yan is a more interesting fight to me than Merab.

Merab is actually so bad regarding any fighting aspect. He looked like an amateur with 2 days of mma training out there.

Its pretty impressive that he was able to rack up so many wins with his anti fighting strategy while being a mediocre striker and mediocre grappler. All the fighters from the division shouls be ashamed...
