I'm in the market for a punching bag. I want to get a 6' Thai bag. My question is this...

Does it matter what the bag is filled with? Which ones should I avoid and what should I look for. I see tons of bags on the net to purchase but it seems as though few advertise what the bag is filled with. I assume that water is bad for leaks and sand is bad because it settles? What else do they fill bags with?

    Monger,

Most thai bags on the market that are purchased from vendors overseas are filled with a tightly packed lint material, sometimes with a foam liner. The bag is soft enough to dig into yet provides enough resitance to build leg strength. We have several on our website if you would like to check them out.

    Thanks

I own a Ringside banana bag and it is really nice, super heavy duty, and seems like it'll last forever. I think the CSI bags are pretty much the same, aren't they?

Ringside or Title for the price and quality.
