Opinion Texas Man Mauled to Death by His Own Dogs as Neighbor Tried to Save Him

Should we let a breed like the pit bull just die out and not have any more of them?

- They cant get controlled, pits arent gigantic molossos. Now on the other Dogo canarios are scary as hell.

I can't count on two hands how many times someones pitbull in my neighborhood got out and attacked someones cat or dog, or elderly person every year. These people are 10/10 times trash. The sad part is unless the dog attacks a human, the police have to release the dog back to the owner so it can get out again and eventually attack a human.

- I prefer cats or dogs over humans. One of my childrenhood friends stole a couple of weighlifting equipament from me, even if my dogs ruined by footballs or shoes, they never hid that:(

- Man. I lost one of my cats to a pit. Every time i got to the market, i make sure to remember the girls that own that dog, how much of a piece of trash the girls are.

Exactly . If you want a guard dog, a German Shepherd will do the trick, they're also far more intelligent and even though they can snap and turn, you start booting and stabbing and they'll stop. They don't have the never ending bloodlust risk that a pit bull has. It might not make you look as "badass" though to have one of them over a pit bull which is the biggest problem here. - The dogs get abused to do that. Even pits arent like that, they wil stop atacking if they fell the treat is down. My chindrenhood love, is brazilian fila, they're a common part of many people growing upo here, and they're a dangerous breed, you can rise pits with cats, wit other dogs, and even to interact with people they've never meet before, Filas dont do that, they will hate any walking thing, that gets close to their owners. And i say that as someone that dont like pitbulls

I actually have ring footage of this latest pitbull that got loose, and came down to my yard and wanted to attack my Pomsky's. Luckily i have doggy door that goes out into a fenced in dog run for them to go potty. Because if i didnt have that dog run my dogs would probably be dead. Local news even came down and asked permission to use our ring camera footage for the story.
 
Imagine a group of people able to do nothing to stop 2 dogs from killing someone. How useless people have become.
 
If you ban Pitbulls, then low life dumb fucks will just take another large breed to mismanage and we'll have the same issues.

If you really want to solve the issue, have owners legally culpable for anything the dog does. Murder 2 if your dog crashes out and kills someone. You'd see these issues solved quick.

- Sorry for that. My lab was big, so he would probably kick the pit-douche ass. Theres a reason i want to have a dog again, to protect the cats from tht retarded and coward breed.

I dont get why people think that pitbulls are like the terminators. theres enough footage of pits getting beat by stray dogs in fights, i have yet to see a Rot or another big molosso suffer that.

- I dont think thought. Pitbulls are kind of a status dog for them. Like those clothes brands that gangsters love. They're easier to manage than a big rot, a Cane Corso, or Alabai. Also cheaper. Those guys get them because the status they bring, they arent dog lovers to spend thousands per month taking care of a dog.

The UK only has 5 or so banned breeds and one was the Brasilia Filho. I had never even heard of the breed. And I like dogs. Had a look. Its like a mastiff with bloodhound features. I genuinely had never heard of it let alone knew it was banned in the UK.

- Brazilian Filas are gigantic Mastifs, great dogs to protect a huge yard, from attack of jaguars, werewolves or other big creatures. But they have a deep hated for strangers, and they're very powerfull dogs, can pass 140 pounds.

They are also the only breed that in training removes the pad protection from the tutor, to attack the unprotected arm. They need a sperienced tutor to train them, also diferent from other dogs, they costume to chalenge the owners orders, like testing them. The positive thing is that even that they got a bite far stronger than a pit, they usuall'y head-butt and hold down the victim using their mounth as grip.

I dont know why they got banned in UK, but i can get, they're dogs to big space, not populated ares, also hard to handle, even what they month holçd with a focinheira(muzzle?), they can still cause damage

But they are great dogs to kids, but horrible to anything that gets close of those kids. Filas are a slight smaller relative of the Britsh mastiff.

- Filas are a sight to behold, amazing looking large dogs. Theres some videos saying they're the better guard dogs, but honestly, they're simple to big and too powerfull and temperamental to that. Better used in farms. I've sent some videos of filas to @Sinister on insta. I miss them, but honestly i like cats more, and they can be seen as pray to the Filas. My dream dog is the Dog Campeiro to become a breeder.
