I have a BS, MS, and PhD in a STEM field. That's 12 years of University and in all my classes and labs NOT once was social science or politics brought up.

What you fail to understand is that highly educated people tend to think differently. In my experience (and assuming those of my highly educated inner circles) arrive to the same liberal and progressive ideas simply because we are not concerned with mundane ideas like tribalism and borders. That's something for the lowest common denominator of people.

But sure, I must "lack common sense" because I don't fear illegals taking my job. The most ironic thing of you hating on the educated is thinking you even comprehend a small fraction of the neuroscience literature to actually know what you're talking about. If you were actually educated you wouldn't have such a difficult time processing gender identity and how biological systems operate.

I don't expect you ever take the time to read on the topic; I expect you to keep knocking on higher education and science and keep backing your opinions with middle school level science.

That basically just proves my point. There is no amount of "education" that will make men becoming biological women a reality. Don't give me this bullshit that people need a degree in neuroscience to "truly" understand the differences between the sexes. The "educated" types overthink shit, and like to live in a world of theory, over practicality. When these "theories" meet the real world, and men end up competing in women's sports to highly predictable results, it blows all your supposed "educated" theories over gender and biology out of the water. You're the "educated" type that ignores the dangers of lowering physical standards in the military, just to simply pat yourself on the back for getting women in combat roles.

PS: Unchecked immigration isn't all about jobs. It's about national security. Another thing you "educated" types find trivial and mundane, I'm sure.

You are correct and partially agree with you.

My point of contention is self identification in terms of gender. That is something based on many understood and unknown factors. Environmental, genetic, and psychological trauma that influence brain development is something that many posters here lack the slightest knowledge yet comment on it as experts.

The point you are talking about - that we have men trying to compete with women - yeah, I do NOT support this. No real scientist will deny sex differences. As a matter of fact, many of my colleagues publish research on biological differences between males and females.

As far as immigration goes, you really have to be delusional to think any system is secure. Sure, you can try, but you'd have to be living in lala land if you think deporting illegal fruit pickers will make it safer.

Seriously dude? Many of us know all about academics like you and deal with them regularly.

I deal with nuclear scientists on a regular basis and hoards of top engineers. My PMO Director (works for me) is a Professor of Geology as well and the CEO (my boss) had a key role in the SDI software to defend the U.S.A. from ICBM's in the 1980's... and it works. He was declassified 5 years ago because they have something better. I personally deal with the Manhattan Project at Y12, the National Labs on a regular basis, and the commercial nuclear industry on a large scale. I've been to most of the U.S.A nuclear plants and advised them. Just one example of our work is that we've reduced the average nuclear outage time in the U.S.A. from 36 days in 2000 to 29 days in 2010 and now we're running sub 25 on some outages. The USA has the best uptime in the world and my/our work had a lot to do with it.

With all my above dick swinging. None of my credentials mean shit on the argument, unless we're talking nuclear energy or weaponry or specific data / AI tech where I am an "expert". You're no more of an expert on the testosterone of males and how it impacts political views. Your Appeal to Authority is nothing more than a logical fallacy and debate loser. Studies show that Democrat men have less T. You're a weak suck IRL and we all know it. The next time you think you're the smartest guy in the room... just sit down. You're not... and neither am I.
