International Terrorist crashes car into Christmas Market in Germany

Don’t know a single sausage about this, only the WR headline but IMVHO, Germany are at fault here.

They should have installed more diversity barriers to prevent this kind of thing occurring. If it was somebody that falls into the diversity box.

Every intelligence chief in Germany needs to step down.

Apparently the Saudis warned Germans about this guy not once, not twice but three f times. Jfc what are they even doing over there?

So much for, "Germanic efficiency".

I'm fascinated to see what comes out of this tbh. If he is a hardcore fundamentalist then he's been very deep undercover for a very long time, kind of like that series of 24 where the family seemed really Westernised but had actually been plotting undercover for years.

I guess the counterpoint to some long plot where he's undercover for ages is that driving a car into a big crowd of people isn't exactly an attack which requires years of preparation or expertise to pull off.

@Islam Imamate if someone was using taqqiya as a reason is there any way it could ever be stretched to say that calling the prophet gay would be acceptable if you were doing it to that end or is that simply too big a sin to do for any reason?

That doesn't sound like Allahu Akbar (not to mention the voice is coming from the opposite side of the car), it seems actual Germans agree:

Whaddya know, more lies and cope... Though it wouldn't surprise me if he said it, as a career Anti-islam activist, it aligns with his goals to fan the flames of Islam/Saudi Arabia hatred.

Taqiyya is the practice of lying in order to protect oneself or family from prosecution or under torture, by default Lying is prohibited, Taqqiya (to protect oneself) is the exception. This is especially true for Sunni Muslims which most Saudis are.

The assertion that this guy used Taqqiya to deceive others he was a Jihadi when he was literally converting Saudi women to Atheism and smuggling them to Western countries for YEARS is beyond laughable... It shows the lengths where Anti-Muslim people go to twist the narrative.

Yeah doesn't make a lot of sense to me. I don't know why people feel the need to have everything be what they want it to be. If it turns out that this isn't islamic terrorism then it doesn't invalidate islamic terrorism as a problem.

Reminds me a bit of the show Homeland. Though there it was a converted Western born white American soldier.

Mental illness is a strong possibility. I have seen normal people go sideways. This guy was clearly showing huge red flags for a while. He could have received help had German authorities did literally anything about it. Many mentally ill people resort to religion to cope with their mental health problems (schizophrenia, mania, etc).

"For example, according to one study of outpatients with serious mental illness in Los Angeles, more than 80% reported that they used religion to cope with their illness and 65% indicated that religion helped reduce the severity of their symptoms 10. Similar findings have been reported in other countries."

If his motive was to carry out an Islamic terror attack, I think it's more likely that for some reason he reversed his entire world-view, and returned to the Islamic faith. Possibly due to severe mental health issues. And before the incoming fire starts, I'm neither conflating Mental Illness with Islam, nor offering mitigation for his ghastly crime. I'd be happy to see the bastard hung from the Brandenburg Gate, whatever his reasons/excuses.

I think it's highly unlikely he's been a sleeper agent for 20 years and activated now, to carry out an attack that any idiot with a driving licence could have pulled off. Apart from anything else, ISIS etc haven't claimed responsibility for this.

WTF? What narrative? He was a Muslim who drove a car into a Christmas Market FFS. You don't need a narrative, it's in the action. You think he didn't choose a Christmas market filled with Christians on purpose? Jesus man, don't be daft. He didn't drive into an Israel protest or a Muslim Market. And are you saying all of these terror attacks committed globally by Muslims in the name of their faith isn't real? It isn't an issue? It's anti Mulsim propaganda? Unless you actually believe in what they are doing, why would you defend it? The Muslim faith brought this on itself by not condemning these attacks with a religious decree. Why won't they? You know the truth.

Insanely high amount of affected people. Those are numbers you would normally hear in war crime reports.

Have you the watched the video? The speed the bastard was driving, I'm surprised the death toll wasn't far higher.

Unfortunately, with 40 listed as critically injured, it could still rise significantly. :(

the balls you gotta have to just reinforce the motive of the killer even though he killed for it.
