TERMINATOR ZERO on Netflix

Yes, I originally put since T2 but changed after I remembered the TV show which was also better than the movies since after T2
Fair Id say.

I like the anime thing they are going for here.

Has there been other anime terminator stuff?

Just watched the first episode. Not bad at all. I like the animation. The story slowed down a bit after a cool opening sequence, but they obviously needed to introduce the main characters and build the world.

I didn't like the Terminator at the beginning having Imperial Stormtrooper-level marksmenship. It's literally a killing machine. It shouldn't be failing to put rounds on target like that.

The scene at the end with the Terminators being, "born" was cool AF. Bonus point for using a version of the OG musical score.

Finished it, was pretty damn good. I enjoyed it delving into the philosophical aspects of AI/sentience, expanding on human (im)morality, and
humans being the cause of AI going rogue and (rightly) considering us a threat. The allusions to slavery and free choice were great too, Malcolm granting choice to the AI (cant remember spelling atm and the AI doing so back at the end.

8.5/10, easily the best Terminator I've seen since T2 and expanded the lore in a new and interesting way. Good writing. Winner IMO. Very happy with it.

Episode 3

- The Terminator making the modem sound was genuinely creepy.

- The crossbow arm just looked shit. Either kill some cops and steal their guns and ammo, or kill your targets with your bare hands. You're a superhumanly strong killing machine, FFS. Which brings me to my final point...

- Eiko trying to Goldberg the Terminator and eating several hammer fist strikes to her back was fucking retarded. A Terminator is going to snap your spine with it's first blow. I don't care how tough or motivated you are.

Watched the whole show. It was pretty good, basically Terminator meets Ghost in the Shell.

At one point I wondered if Eiko wasn't a terminator herself.

But yeah terminators have always been a little terminatards. Like their obsession for grabbing and throwing people, only for them to escape, grabe a weapon or having to be thrown again ... No, you grab, you punch the head 2-3 times and it's marmelade and done.

Just finished this series and was thoroughly impressed.

I'd go so far as saying it's the first Terminator property to actually be worthy of being included in the franchise since the 2 Cameron movies.

There were little things here and there I didn't like, but overall it was excellent.

Not great but it is good, main problem being plot armor mc has but thats typical anime stuff

Worth watching and will watch S2 if it comes out, best terminator related media since T2

Just finished the second episode, and...

Without going into specifics I'll summarize my praises with this line - By the end of the season, this will probably be the best Terminator-related content the franchise has had in 30 years.

That is a praise, but not high-praise, because it only has to contend against Terminator 3, Salvation, Genysis, Dark Fate, and The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
Its worth mentioning that nearly 1.5 years after watching the series... I've nearly forgotten all about it.

That's not the case with T3, Salvation, or Genysis. I remember the good, bad, and ugly with those movies. (Mostly ugly)

Solid no Blue Eye Samamarai , Frieren, or OPM but decent. Wouldn't mind a season 2

I see Timothy Olyphant in the credits, was not expecting that.

Trailer looks bad ass. I will watch
