I don't believe Cameron had positive comments towards T3 or Salvation, or any at all.

Which kills his credibility even more after praising Genysis.

As much as I hate T3, it clearly is a better film than Genysis.

Salvation gets shit on because since its a Terminator sequel, it gets compared to T1 & T2. Whatever positive aspects it has is irrelevant because fanboys like to focus on the negatives.

Before T3 came out he said he hoped it would suck because he ended the series at 2 for a reason. Then he also said that since Arnold was in it, he hoped it would succeed. Then the movie came out and he said it was "great"

He was silent about Salvation because none of his friends were in it (or rather none of his close friends had a big part in it).

I thought Cameron was co-writing this movie.....that's what imdb and Wiki said months ago. now I just checked and no....Cameron is not co-writing this. He is writing Avatar 2 and 3 at the moment....damn it.

Journalists who saw recently screened footage are geeking out about it. If the footage is really that great than they should just release the footage publicly....the Terminator franchise needs all the hype it can get. Just like SW IX *needs* a very epic and showy trailer to get people hyped. One of these franchises has been dead for a decade while the latter is in serious trouble.

Go smaller budget get people on board again with the franchise.

Do it for like 85 or max 100 mill only make it R rated and more of the feel of the first movie, good script, unknown actors with some talent and looks, make it more dark and gritty and more of a horror chase / no hope vs doom robot.. feel to it.

Limited in size have it more contained more focused.. get the magic back and with the people behind it after it made it's money and got the hype back then go for the big blockbuster 300 mill budget and huge promotion etc etc.

People don't trust the Terminator name no more they won't make your bank so you need to go small and to the core make it good so they have a reason to get hype for it.

Also Cameron go finish those damn Avatar movies or we will totally forget about them.

I think one movie who captured the feel of terminator with some fight scenes just great was "Dredd". Really sad this one bombed at the box office. New Terminator shoud be like you wrote , way more focused. More in the tradition of T1 than T2. Make it one poetic stream of terminator violence were story is more applied by environmental and athmospherical storytelling then words.

btw Dark Fate looks like trash.

Sorry, but we all know who the main character of this new movie will be.

After Genysis bombed and lost the studio tens of millions, the last thing ya'd expect them to do is make even dumber mistakes with a new one.

Dredd was good indeed and had the right formula down, relative 'small' budget at 50 mill, limited marketing, low key cast just 2 named actors and both not A list at that time, rated R.. and resulted in a good solid movie problem was that no one really went to see it made 35 mill they lost a lot with it and terminated any future plans.

Let's see that T6 trailer in a few hours.. maybe just maybe, then again it can happen just like with Dredd no one goes to see the damn thing and kills it even if it's a good movie.

Dredd is one of the best action movies of the past 10 years

Just thinking about Dredd makes my dick hard
