I can feel that banhammer twitching in your hand, it’s my opinion that he is paid to post on various sites, seeing as the high % of his posts are within his own threads which are constantly about movies, a recent example would be his review of the movie MEG and his past reviews on any avenger movie.

If I’m wrong then I’m wrong but I believe he pushes certain movies because that what he is employed to do, not as a fan

Not twitching at all. It's not really banworthy to critique someone's reviews. Unless you go overboard with it, I don't see a problem. I was just asking for any, in particular, you felt that way about. Now that you've given examples, we're good.

For all it's problems, namely it's needlessly complicated and incoherent script, Genysis was still more watchable than T4. I don't think I've ever been as bored during an "action" movie as I was with T4. It's so bland and lifeless, and given that it had the best material to work with(future war? Sign me up), and cast(Bale as John Connor is some fantasy casting dream come true), the disappointment was that much worse.

I remember how pumped I was, thinking that if Bale was involved, he must've seen something in the script and crew that I was missing. Then the trailers came out and were awesome, and my fears of McG directing were getting smaller and smaller by the day. Then I saw it. I'll never give a shitty director the benefit of the doubt like that ever again

Honestly, to me, I think the last movie he made that I really enjoyed was Jingle All The Way. Since then it's been pretty much a giant shit-show with one bad movie after another. There's maybe a couple decent ones since Jingle......but only merely decent.

On the flip side, leading up to and including Jingle All The Way, it's almost as if it was impossible for him to make a bad movie.

Do we blame the shit-show that Hollywood has become for this, or Arnold himself? Or both?

I think all of Aftermath, Sabotage, Maggie, Collateral Damage, The 6th Day and End of Days are decent. The rest can all eat shit though.

If he had used that much passion and anger into telling the director that the Salvation script and filming locations were absolute trash we would have had a great movie.

I never saw Aftermath. Of the rest of them, Maggie had a few decent scenes. The 6th Day was probably the best of the bunch.

Oh, we're a long ways removed from his heyday, no doubt. Though few actors have ever put together a string like that.

That said, he's still AT LEAST a few tiers above the Sensei. And he also hasn't released anything as half-assed as Escape Plan 2, which is an embarrassment for Sly on the heels of a bloody Oscar nomination.

At this point, the Sensei is really no different from Lorenzo Lamas.

when they CGI his younger self that's pretty cool, but why not use an action star from our generation and make new storylines

Eell its a very natural hollywood progression.. The started by making his (disloyal) wife the one who was actually the boss, after he was killed off screen.. Now he's just a woman.
