Law Tennessee's anti-critical race theory law has its first complaint filed.

Nah, bro, defund the police just means to "reimagine policing" and to have people police themselves, but only if that means mobs of BLM goons burning your stuff down and swarming random cars. If it's someone putting out fires, offering first aid and trying to prevent stores from being burned down, well that's obviously a case of "white vigilantism".

Right, and civilian oversight boards should consist of BLM supporters. You know, the same BLM who tried breaking into an emergency room where a police officer was fighting for his life last year so they could kill him? That's a swell idea.

Mark Essex went on a racist attack and shot quite a few
people in New Orleans…we watched it unfold on the TV while in 5th grade.

Never heard of him til now, but likewise I wouldn't call all blacks racist over 1 idiot.

Let me know if you need anything else cleared up.

You didn't clear anything up.

You only linked to the actual filing to the school board which made the same stupid arguments as detailed in the OP. The OP that contained both the fact that the parents referenced specific pages and photos, and the notion that these objections were incredibly stupid. The OP also mentioned that the school board rejected the complaint on the ground that the books in questioned were not being offered that year.

But this thread was not an attempt to detail the exact legal procedures and filings made by this conservative group championing censorship. It was instead noting that, like we all suspected, conservatives would use the manufactured outrage of CRT in attempts to censor historical books they find uncomfortable. And that's exactly what happened here.

And while we can all be glad that the school board told these outraged Karens to go fuck themselves, you can rest easy that you tried your best to misrepresent the facts here as to downplay the actions of members of your tribe. And it worked! Well, sort of. You got like from two of the biggest trump fan boys on this board. Sure, you didn't convince anyone else, and both of those posters failed to read the initial article. But you did your part muddying the waters.

It’s funny that this group who is apparently anti CRT and CRT proponents are as racist as each other. TBH, this group seems to know very little about CRT, or as has been pointed out, are just grifters trying to piggyback off the appropriate anti CRT sentiment throughout

How about we don't raise kids to be pussies? Probably not a great idea to be showing elementary age kids horrific historical images. I mean, would you want a school showing your 6 year old kid Schindler's list? Probably not.

That being said, our country's history is written in one color, red. Blood. Somewhere around puberty age, kids need to be educated on human history, which is basically non stop pain and suffering and mass murder and on and on.

One of the reasons we have so many emotional Nancy's running around today is because these clowns have zero idea of how they got to where they are today and the sacrifice and shear human suffering that made it possible.

It's sounds stupid which is why.

"The state's education department declined to investigate the complaint."

At what grade was this being taught.

High school level is good.

Kindergarten or elementary school no.

Jr high maybe.

I started getting nuke tests and holocaust images in Jr high

Well shoot, moms for liberty is wrong so I guess we should just go back to letting them teach kids that they should feel guilty or oppressed based solely on the color of their skin.
never happened in the first place. Do you believe in the boogie man too?
