Honestly, I don't see the point of using it at all unless it's to cook with or something. From a nutritional stand point its way overhyped in my opinion.
A better question is how do you want/think it will benefit you?

I like to consider myself patient, not lazy.
I actually only bumped this because I was looking for another post of mine, then came across this. I bumped it for self-amusement (see the original of my post).
My intestines don't deal well with fat (surgery), so my doc back then recommended MCT oil for use in cooking.
I still haven't actually tried it, so maybe I AM lazy =o .
If his recommendation is based on some kind of a medical issue with your intestines it's beyond my knowledge so I can't begin to give you advice.
I'm not aware of anything negative about MCT oil except that larger quantities can cause gastric distress in some.
