Teep/push kick.

the footjab is one of my favorite weapons. i always follow these guidelines: front leg is a quick stab either aimed for the front side floating rib, front or back hip (back hip is pretty akward but a good choke) or the front of the thigh. back footjab (power foot jab) is usually aimed for the solar plexus/chest area. higher you go, the more of a bend back your opponent will experience. the lower you go (on the torso) the more his body will be pushed back. use it all the time!

He isn't, but it isn't necessary for that style of push kick. The act of skipping in generates the force moreso than projecting with the hips. Now, skipping in WHILE projecting your hips would be even better, but again, it isn't necessary...
