Ted Bundy was considered a handsome guy?

Wasn't it more that he was a charmer? He clearly wasn't an unattractive fella, but that gift of the gab will bump anyone's points up a notch or two, innit.

Zac Efron (who plays him in the movie) is a cute guy

Not by today's standards.

He was meeting women from Washington state and Idaho in the 1970's.
There was no Internet back then, so I'm sure plenty of women were dropping their panties in the Summer.
They didn't want to be alone and single during the winter months.

I mean if Woody Allen had an easy time getting laid, that should be enough proof that women had low standards in the 70's.

I was just watching "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile" (The Ted Bundy story). Now I heard part of what made Ted Bundy a successful serial killer was that he looked like a nice guy, and was unassuming.

The movie however made him look like a chick magnet who was wooing victims with a Dracula like power. Zac Efron (who plays him in the movie) is a cute guy, I'll give them that, but the real Ted Bundy looked like that uncle who no one would leave alone with the kids. I wouldn't call him good looking.

Was the movie just taking artistic liberties and dramatizing this?

Also, they made all of the women in the show extremely stupid. Like dumb little girls who couldn't think rationally because "aw, such a cute guy... I don't care that he's a serial killer, my panties are wet... tee hee hee" I know to some extent women can be like that (emotional over logical) but I'm guessing this was also exaggerated for movie purposes too, no(?) haha
women can actually be this dumb brah

Change title to "The serial killer gay thread"

I don't know if he looks like a nice guy or he's handsome to most girls, but he has a very charming personality that was undeniable.

i think he’s a moderately handsome guy, dat strong jawline ‘n all yaknow?, but like others have said, it was his charm, demeanor & cunning that truly made him so dangerous. this sociopathic homicidal maniac even managed to charm the judge that presided over his trials.

So famous geeky guys can't get laid today because the standard is so high?

He was handsome by normal dude standards. It's like Casey Anthony. Many of us found her attractive, but in a real life girl way. It's not like she'd make the top 10 hottest celebrity list.
