Ted Bundy was considered a handsome guy?

That is his perp walk photo. But he doesn't seem ugly in interviews and seems interesting.

I thought the same thing as the OP that he seemed like a scary creep and then I saw this exact video you posted and then I was like "oooh I get it now." That was just a shit picture he took when you actually see him articulate his thoughts he seems like a good looking dude, maybe he's not photogenic but the dude is very charismatic and I could see how women would easily have a false sense of security around him after watching that vid. Plus he's tall too so he had lots going for him back in the 70's which women would have found attractive.

Yeah I never got the Bundy being a ladies man thing. But then I always had a thing for Dahmer so my taste is idk

I dunno man you always seemed more of a John Wayne Gacy kind of guy to me.

He was handsome by normal dude standards. It's like Casey Anthony. Many of us found her attractive, but in a real life girl way. It's not like she'd make the top 10 hottest celebrity list.

Good point. Yea, Casey can get it!

I was just watching "Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile" (The Ted Bundy story). Now I heard part of what made Ted Bundy a successful serial killer was that he looked like a nice guy, and was unassuming.

The movie however made him look like a chick magnet who was wooing victims with a Dracula like power. Zac Efron (who plays him in the movie) is a cute guy, I'll give them that, but the real Ted Bundy looked like that uncle who no one would leave alone with the kids. I wouldn't call him good looking.

Was the movie just taking artistic liberties and dramatizing this?

Also, they made all of the women in the show extremely stupid. Like dumb little girls who couldn't think rationally because "aw, such a cute guy... I don't care that he's a serial killer, my panties are wet... tee hee hee" I know to some extent women can be like that (emotional over logical) but I'm guessing this was also exaggerated for movie purposes too, no(?) haha

It depends what picture you're looking at. The crazy thing about him is that he seemed to look different in every fucking picture, which I guess came in handy when he was on the lam. He was the man of 1000 faces.

Sometimes he looked classically handsome, like he should be a politician. Other times he just looked like a psychopath.

I assume they mean relative to serial killers. He's an above average looking guy who with the right confidence could absolutely go out and score with random women.

Andrew Cunanan had the same thing going on.

this is very true. dude was a chameleon.

I think maybe he looked worse after being booked for murder? Like when he was free and untouchable he didn’t have the same creepiness about him that came later with incarceration. Anyway, yeah he’s not as attractive as Bert Reynolds, Bert Reynolds would have gotten away with those murders for sure.

And how would Burt Reynolds have done?

Not bad looking I guess.

Always thought this dude was the best looking of the lot.

Ricardo Leyva Muñoz Ramírez (/rəˈmɪərɛz/; February 29, 1960 – June 7, 2013), known as Richard Ramirez, was an American serial killer, rapist, and burglar. His highly publicized home invasion crime spree terrorized the residents of the greater Los Angeles area and later the residents of the San Francisco area from June 1984 until August 1985. Prior to his capture, Ramirez was dubbed the "Night Stalker" by the news media.

Apparently so. He was even sexier when the details of his crimes came out. Man, all this time I thought some CK mixed with some fine clothes and an approachable demeanor was the answer. Turns out, fucking the corpses of your murdered victims is a far stronger aphrodisiac. Who knew?

Bundy had a way with words. He talked himself into looking handsome to these women. Very articulate
