These guys are like Russia's answer to Nova Uniao.
I have no idea the level of competition these guy's have faced, but if they're anything like Nurmy... Lighter weight classes, look out.
The 2008 US wrestling team is also undefeated in MMA with a similarly impressive combined record. It would be interesting to see these bad ass Russians fight some of the 2008 US wrestling team and see whose "0" has got to go.
Dat bear-wrasslin' strengf.
Ethnically, no they are North Caucasian. But they do come from Russia, in terms of nationality. For example, many Dagestani wrestlers will move to Moscow to further their careers (such as under the tutelage of 3x Dagestani Olympic gold medalist in wrestling, Buvaisar Saitiev, absurdly well-accredited older brother of the similarly incredible Adam Saitiev) because it's still in the same part of the world, relatively speaking.Except they're not even russian.
Team USA dominates once again. It's happened once and It didn't look good for the Russians.
Team USA dominates once again.
North Caucasians do represent a large portion of Russia's Olympic gold medalists though.
Everyone has a padded record until they're in the UFC, by that logic.
LOLCan't wait for these guys to face some real competition, I'd love to see their style of grappling vs. a Division 1 NCAA wrasslin' champ.
defPadded records.
Uff.
