Te-huna wants Shogun next.

Careful what you wish for. Shogun would wreck him. Thiago Silva makes more sense IMO.

I love shogun and I have watched him since he started but I don't have too much stock in him anymore as far as top level.I think it's a good and winnable fight for te huna and a bad fight for shogun. When shogun takes big shots he goes into a bit of a drunk mode the guy is still there like a zombie but James will rock him and shogun will have a hard time getting back on steady legs while throwing some sloppy strikes and looking for td's that will get stuffed. That's not for sure what I think would happen just my first quick instinct.Which might these days be to assume shogun will do terrible so I don't get letdown so much lol.Stylistically I don't like the fight for shogun I don't think that will change even with some realistic thought.

Shoguns knees are shot. It sucks he would of been one of the best lhw champions we have seen if they weren't IMO .

I just read this on his facebook as well, I mentioned on there, but I really think that Te Huna vs. Lil Nog should be the next match up he gets. Shogun needs another lower tier fighter to get his confidence back up.

im for it. id hope for a shogun win but at this stage in his career i just dont know what to expect

Te huna would probably get knocked out. It would be a sad day if shogun lost a decision to him though.

He went into his last fight with Jimmo ready to lose? Did i read that wrong??

Because Shogun is a big name due his legacy in Pride and now he's not doing well, and having a win over shogun will really boost up your prestige and will get you bigger fights

I get the reasoning behind it, but I hate seeing it done. I'm a Shogun fan anyway, but even if I weren't, I would root against Te Huna. Nothing against the guy personally, but I don't think it is cool to call out aging legends to make a name for yourself. If you're good enough to contend for a title, call out other fighters who are also in their primes (and who have looked sharp recently).

He proved his striking is up to the job against Jimmo... Whoever that is , sure Shigun next it's the MFC after all.

Whats wrong with the water down there?
Bellator - take me away.

If Shogun did not want Teixeira at the time based on name value he won't want Te-Huna.

I think if Shogun still has it he easily wins this fight.

I like it.

I can't think if a top ten guy that would want to take on Te Huna. Guys were avoiding Texeira because there was no upside to beating him. Te Huna might find himself in the same position.

Wouldn't mind this match up or Lil Nog/Rua Lil Nog/Te Huna.

Tehuna takes down Shogun and easily ground and pounds his way to a decision victory.

Doesn't make sense ranking wise in my opinion (my personal rankings, not the UFC's). I would do:
James Te-Huna vs. Forrest Griffin or winner of Phil Davis/Vinny Magalhaes(?)
Shogun Rua vs. Rashad Evans

But if it did happen, Shogun by (T)KO.

If I grew up to be the best basketball player in the world I'd play Kobe 1 on 1 I'm just sayin

Didn't Jimmo almost finish Tuna in the first round?

Sounds like somebody must have hacked his FB account.
Shogun via murder.
