Elections Taylor Swift endorses Kamala Harris in U.S. election: ‘I’ve made my choice’

Do you think Taylor Swift can have a major influence on this election?

  • Total voters
    133
  • Poll closed .
Reality check time, fellas.

Kamala is still going to lose comfortably.

No one, absolutely no one is changing their votes because of taylor swift. She already has endorsed dems twice, her fans know where her politics are, and the one who were motivated to vote by here were already 100% going to vote Dem.
Biden Won who knows what the impact but her standing only grown on a national level.

Kamala winning the debate saw her take a tangible lead in the odds.

Of course Taylor Swift will have a significant impact - but largely thanks to JD Vance and his utterly bizarre own goal.

That will haunt Trump, I'm really not sure they can come back from openly hating women.

I think you're underestimating her power. She didn't say to her fans to vote for so and so. Just do your research and vote wisely. As someone said earlier as soon as she endorsed Kamala. There was a spike in registered voters. So I think that says a lot of her influence.

So even though she's now the betting favourite and Maga republicans have all been losing since 2020... You pulled that "reality check" out of where exactly?

MAGA republicans suck, always have, always will. Polls are largely correct on them this is why they don't win shit, and @CantCucktheTuck cant take it.

Trump himself sucks, but he has an X factor, a cult, an ability to change the perception of reality with rhetoric. Polls do not work on him. Biden was leading Trump PA by like 7 points and he won by like 1.1. The 'margin of error' isn't what it is for other candidates. It's 'Trumps actual numbers are 5-6 points higher'. Trump is currently winning PA and MI comfortably, that will give him the white house.

Those voters were going to register anyway.

And yes that was 100% a go out and vote for Kamala endorsement, don't be naive.

I think in the past celebrity endorsements of politicians would be helpful for that politician. Celebrities have long been used to sell products. The same applied to politicians I've thought.

Today, with the continuous dishonest attacks against Trump, I'm having doubts that it has that much of an effect with this election go around. I could be wrong but I get the opinion that many Americans have grown tired of it. It isn't a surprise that Swift endorsed Harris the Democrat candidate. It was expected to happen, regardless of what little Harris has said or done. Attacking Trump is an expected practice from Democrat celebrities. The more dishonest an attack can be, the better the celebrity seems to believe.

Yeah but the spike in voters after she endorsed Kamala says something imo.

Well if she endorses whoever (which is Kamala), yes it may influence her followers to endorse Kamala as well. Yes that's true.

Elon Musk is such a fucking creep with that tweet... No wonder he lost custody of his kids
I was a huge fan of Musk until his brain began to publicly crack around the time of Thailand cave diving incident, and he's only grown worse with each passing day. I'd say he's legitimately insane now. The dude reminds me of a latter stage Howard Hughes.

Tay Tay is supporting abortion stance because she may make mistake at 30+ years old.

Elon Musk is clearly abusing Twitter with his politics. Taylor Swift is not trending at all on Twitter despite how many people are talking about it. What a fucking coward, it's so obvious he's suppressing the news.

What?

Kamala is currently ahead in both PA and MI

The votes are nicely spread out. Interesting.

And no she won't make an impact in this year's election
I wouldn’t be so sure of that. She has an army of extremely dedicated fans, many of them young women who weren’t of voting age in 2020 but are now, that she’s just motivated to get registered and vote. Having at least a slight impact on the election is definitely possible.

Not exactly unexpected: she endorsed Biden and Harris in 2020.

It's a boost for Harris; Swifties are a fanatical bunch. But by and large, anyone who was going to vote for Trump probably wasn't listening to Taylor Swift songs anyway.
