not really.

i can't stand tank, he's a shit outside the ring and he refuses to take dangerous fights in it. but he is a brilliant boxer, he's a murderous puncher, and he has high fight IQ.

roach is a tough guy, but doesn't have the skill or the power to get tank. i think gervonta is faster, packs a bigger punch, and is just better.

i'll be rooting for roach but he's likely getting the same treatment as everyone else tank has faced recently. have a few good rounds and then get knocked out dead.

to be completely fair, i'm no expert on roach either. but from what i've seen on him, he just doesn't look like he's going to present a threat to tank. vegas agrees with me, for what that's worth.

and i don't think tank will ever challenge himself. he's 30. he's been a champion for years, and has shown no interest in fighting anyone worth a fuck who wasn't a complete underdog.

Davis and Roach fought twice in the amateurs; Davis won both. Roach is also moving up in weight for this contest I believe. Either way, these guys are familiar with each other somewhat but we all know the pro game is far different than amateur.
