I think he'll hang around, I'm surprised he didn't put AA away... I'm not ready to call him anything just yet but he's durable, punches hard, agile and his cardio looks much improved. I think he's tough competition for a lot of the ranked heavyweights.

I was hoping he'd lose, don't like the guy.

im super glad he won. he will get tonnes of fans for just being himself

Yes! Shoey is my boy! On top of all you mentioned he has fast hands for HW too. Love this guy for his non generic personality and sense of humor. Titanic theme as walk out music- just Tai can do this.

Probably the best outcome for Tai tbh. If he won easily he'd have gotten pushed harder and probably ran into someone more dangerous than he should. This way he got three rounds in against a guy who tbh is probably better at this point in his career than he's given credit for. Better for the experience and keeps his 0. He should probably fight Tybura next or the loser of Lewis vs. Ngannou.

It would never happen but Tai vs Hunt would a battle for the ages.

I couldn't help click on a thread titled 'Tai looked solid' considering his build and I expected a (no pun intended) clause lol. Regardless, the young bull is still young and has plenty to learn but is showing promise. We need more Samoans in the UFC to make heavyweight great again.

Did good.

Won the first, slowed in the second then took himh the 3rd.

Great experience for him.

Needs to tidy up his hands a bit cause he lands enough imo just needs to land cleaner.

Don't see how he won that fight. He was busted up, Arlovski was just exhausted after the fight.

His power punching is great, he just needs to add some feints and develop a clean jab. Atm he just wants to swang n bang.

That mount situation pissed me off a bit

Other than that, good win and on a side note

Who gave Andrei chin implants?

Difference between taking bombs from Fedor, Rogers, Sergei, Sylvia, etc and taking short little inside punchs. however hard Rogan tries to sell them.

Tai looked okish but that he's one of the top HW prospects in the UFC looking like that is very worrying.

???

Tai hit him with some bombs
Much more than stipe put on him

Nah, he hit him with some good inside punchs that could have hurt him if they'd landed right, Stipe, Reem, Fedor, Sergei, Sylvia, Rogers, Rizzo, etc all hit him a lot harder for their finishes.

Rogan screaming about punchs does not make them bombs.

Arlovski’s defense looked on point, hands up and moved out of the way or clinched up when things started to look bad. Well done, both guys. Tuivasa is a handful for the guys in lower top 10 for sure.

Tai is one of my favourite fighters (in spite of his disgusting shoey-ways) and his sense of humour is a breath is refreshing, but for the long term...a real concern now is his immaturity - natural talent and good resources will only take him so far, he needs to start taking things a little more seriously if he wants to progress, imo.
