T-800 Most Intimidating

Predator 2 is sooooooo much better than The Predator

Even Predators is better

I'd say that The Predator is easily the worst in the franchise

I think Shane Black pretty much killed that franchise with his film.
The shane black movie was a travesty. Mention it not.

I'm actually not really sure Blomkamp is the guy for the job...

you guys ever put on the original Terminator soundtrack and play Call of duty advanced warfare,or Gears of War? cos you fucking up if you aint. Also Bolt Thrower works good.

Well, Arnold was offered a part in Shane Black's The Predator but was disgusted with the script.

Obviously Alien has gone insane with Prometheus and Covenant, but the ship could still be righted perhaps with somebody doing Blomkamp's Alien 2.5 with Sigourney and Michael Biehn. I'm actually not really sure Blomkamp is the guy for the job, but Ripley and Hicks doing basically what I described for Dutch earlier would be a stronger move than remaking Alien.

I'm not opposed to your ideas of remaking the originals (although I don't think there's really room for improvement the way there was for The Thing of The Fly) but if that were done with Alien, I think it would just go by the wayside like it did for Friday the 13th.

Lol, it really says something when the dude who got famous by going around killing people while half naked and oiled up and smoking cigars is the voice of sanity in a franchise.

That 'predator killer' thing at the end of the recent film was like something Shane Black had asked his kids to come up with for the movie, just the most godawful dumbest shit I've ever seen. What an absolute abomination that film was.

Yup Linda Hamilton's tits are underrated.

In fact I'd say the only flaw in T2 was the lack of Linda titties.
I loved how she went from a soft and fragile woman in the first to a fit bad ass bitch in t2. She worked hard for the role. Great actress.

They tried to turn it into a Marvel movie

"They asked me, and I read it, and I didn’t like it — whatever they offered. So I’m not going to do that, no. Except if there’s a chance that they rewrite it, or make it a more significant role. But the way it is now, no, I won’t do that."

t-1000 could blend in better by copying anything it touches
it could even become something bigger and scarier than arnold, but u dont blend in well that way

Only an object of equal size.

funny how we get this thread today, after i just watched the following vid yesterday:

it's a vid about cameron doing sequels right with T2 and Aliens and what the vid creator thinks is the reason why (and it also shows a scene from aliens i never saw before).

What James Cameron knows how to do better than anyone is decide what should stay on the cutting room floor. I think he illustrated this perfectly with the scenes he left out of T1, T2 and Aliens.

If it hurts the flow, if the acting isn't up to scratch, if the payoff for the scene is purely academic rather than emotional, if the scene goes against the tone of the film, if what is revealed in the scene is too on the nose and best left as subtext or implication... Into the special features you go and rightfully so.

love this scene. shes terrified that hes back

It works because, much like Michael Myers, it's the idea of a focused and driven killer that has no other purpose but to find you, hunt you, and kill you.

And the code "Come with me if you want to live." It snaps her out of it but adds to her layers of resentment.

100%. A lot of people don't believe me when this is brought up, but I'll never forget that milestone in my 6 year old life.

Btw 20 years is way too long to go without watching Terminator.

Probably because of censorship in Singapore public TV, where I watch most of my shows when I was young. T1 should be too gorey to be on evening timeslot. T2 however is on TV every 3 months or so when I'm growing up.

Check your PMs.

The T-800 from Terminator 1 is the most scariest and intimidating terminator ever. I don’t understand how the other terminator movies never reproduce the same terrifying feeling.

Dude, I saw that mov E in the Theater as a kid. It was so terrifying and relentless. I remember not putting my feet on the floor.

T-1000 was great too. James Cameron is why. He knows how to build tension and make them scary. I just hope he hasn't lost the touch with this new one.

Lol did you see the new terminator? He looks like some latte sipping nerd who works at an apple store.
