Social Sweden. Update: Came in Ferrari - applied for social benefits

I do agree that people who perform such actions should be SEVERLY punished. However, I disagree with punishing people for merely having vile thoughts. A thought has yet to produce a victim.

And with @Kafir-kun inquiry about what I as a Swedish had liked about open markets made by Swedes. It is about decency, balance and that it fits into the environmental architecture. Take our open markets around Christmas in Europe. Does anyone complain about this massive spectacle? No, we all love it. But we think it's nice when everything goes to normal when the markets are packed down after 1 week.

Something that I appreciate with Aftonbladet is that they invite debate from people with a completely different value base. Aftonbladet is an independent social democratic newspaper and their debate series "Debatt" is a much appreciated read by many.

Mass immigration has devastated the nation, 2010-11-23

https://www.aftonbladet.se/debatt/a/kJPRKj/massinvandringen-har-slagit-sonder-nationen

"This is a debate article. It is the writer who stands for the opinions expressed in the text, not the Aftonbladet."

Municipalities walking on their knees. Shootings and blasts each and every other day. An escalating insecurity that is gradually breaking down our country. Does Sweden have problems? Yes. Is the S-government with its support parties capable of solving these problems? No. Even the government's own voters do not believe in passive talk politics anymore.

The failure is total. But don't despair, there is hope. We are many who remember another Sweden. A daily life that had its share of challenges, but at the same time a daily life where the feeling of security and cohesion was part of the air of life. A everyday life where there was a trust in one's neighbor and a grounded sense of a society that is ready, the day when everything falls apart. Today, there remains only a waste of what once was. The social contract has been torn down. The value that guided previous generations - the principle of doing your duty demands your right - has been reduced to words without practical meaning.

We are many who remember another Sweden. An everyday life where crime was there but not so close. A crime that was not as crude and ruthless as the one we see today. Stefan Löfven does not seem to remember the Sweden we remember. The prime minister is convinced that blasts and shootings would have occurred irrespective of the immigration policy pursued. We who live in reality outside the prime minister's bubble know that this is not the case.

Stefan Löfven (S) proves time and again that he lives in another world, a world characterized by illusions, lies and deceit. The motive? Power. Poverty does not automatically mean crime, Stefan Löfven. This land was built by people who fought every day for food on the table and roof over their heads. They may have been poor but they were driven by doing the moral right thing. They were driven by principles. None of them blasted the house across the street. None of these saw a possible supply in the drug trade. They were able to distinguish between right and wrong and were fully engaged in building a future for themselves and their families. We are many who remember another Sweden. A Sweden that held together. A Sweden that had challenges but was joined by common denominators. Mass immigration policy has, bit by bit, broken the supporting wall of our nation building.

The policy of fragmentation has led to nothing but destructiveness. In order to be able to repair the damage that has been done, a net minus with regard to asylum and family immigration is an absolute necessity. More people have to leave and fewer come in. Basically, this is about humanity. If we are to have a chance to give the people who have received a refuge in our country a fair existence, we must learn to say no. Let's be clear: There is hope. There is a strong belief for a better Sweden. A strong will for change. We are many and we are just getting more. More people who remember another Sweden, a better Sweden.

The road is long but we will get out of this crisis, we have done it before. Not through chilly individualism, a player is never stronger than the team. A nation must be woven together by cohesion, pride and faith in the future combined with individual freedom to be given strength. Similarly, a party must be brought forward by the same feeling. We are not ashamed of who we are. We never did. Our ambition has never been the power in itself. Nor do we have the ambition to set utopian goals about the EU's lowest unemployment or climate targets that no one will reach.

Objectives of this type are easy-going symbolic politics that have little to do with reality. Our goal, the overall and the only, is to make Sweden a better country. Back to the Sweden we remember.

I'm sorry but this was the first part of the debate.

You were also warned about the consequences of immigration, 2019-11-19

https://www.aftonbladet.se/debatt/a/aweXa2/aven-du-varnades-for-invandringens-foljder

"This is a debate article. It is the writer who stands for the opinions expressed in the text, not the Aftonbladet."

There is much to be said about Stefan Löfven's interview in SVT on Sunday, but I would like to address one specific part of the Prime Minister's message: The fact that there is a shared political responsibility for today's gang shootings, blasts and murders. Of course, the segregation, the exclusion and the prolonged uncontrolled immigration that now drives the serious crime have not suddenly arisen. The responsibility for many years of unthinkable politics - and the inability to deal with the problems - is shared by many. Also by my party the Moderates.

But the prime minister is fundamentally wrong in describing reality. He likes to talk about broad responsibility, but is not prepared to take responsibility himself. First and foremost: It is completely wrong that this development could not have been foreseen. Many people warned about it already in the 1990s, and should I mention just one of them, it's Mauricio Rojas. Alice Teodorescu Måwe and many other voices took over in the 21st century.

Since then, the voices have become many and initiated. The problems of great immigration and poor integration - and the long-term risks of deep exclusion, strong social tensions and serious crime - have been highlighted by many and with constructive intent. So developments have been very predictable. But too many in politics overlooked this too long.

That Löfven even tries to deny this shows how basic insights about Sweden he and his government have. And there are considerable doubts about how honest the account of responsibility really is.

Secondly, the Moderates (M) acknowledge without a doubt that we have a partial responsibility. Even we should have acted earlier, clearer and more powerful. And to the extent that my party has helped to slander and freeze the voices that wanted and dared to raise the problems, they deserve my and my party's unreserved apology. Looking back and learning from mistakes and mistakes is thus necessary. But not enough. Responsibility must also be taken through clear political review and concrete action. For what Stefan Löfven (S) cannot see at all, almost everyone else sees: It is quite obvious that gang crime, shootings and executions are strongly linked to excessive immigration and too poor integration. How can you even pretend otherwise?

For a number of years now, the Moderates have changed our immigration policy, which is now tight and consistent. We have developed new reforms to learn the Swedish language faster and to make fewer lives on grants. We have tightened our criminal policy, so that it can be a serious crime. We are making sharp legislative proposals in the Riksdag (Parliament). We invite researchers and other experts to discuss joining our program for the future. Also many of the voices that have longest warned of the development we are now seeing. But what is this government doing that will soon enter its sixth year in Parliament?

Stefan Löfven talks about responsibility but confirms time and time again that he either has no understanding of the problems, or the ability to do something about them, or both. Instead, the government and its support parties are about to go from bad to worse: The Social Democrats undermine all credible immigration policy with even more generous rules on family immigration and 7,000 residence permits for adults without asylum (the so-called high school law). They say no to powerful political proposals that can break the spiral of violence and the devastating culture of silence around the immigrants. And they reduce national political talk in a crisis situation to nasty political play by excluding the Swedish Democrats from even being in the discussion.

In addition, the Social Democrats are generally late in the start, keeping a low pace and not even delivering the reforms they have previously agreed across the block boundary, such as the 2017 terrorist agreement. And there is not a trace of self-criticism over what the government has failed since Stefan Löfven took power in 2014. Nobody in Sweden is interested in more talk. What is happening now is indeed bad for the country. Because it allows the violence to just continue. And it undermines confidence in all political leadership. It is dangerous and destructive. It undermines our democratic processes and the trust that must exist between voters and electors. It is now clear that responsibility must be claimed by the electorate at the latest in the 2022 elections. The Moderates are prepared to shoulder government power and do everything that needs to be done to address Sweden's difficult problems, so that we can then begin to address our country's many opportunities.

It is official, Sweden dismantles our famous welfare, 2019-11-24

https://www.svt.se/nyheter/inrikes/lista-sa-sparar-kommunerna
https://www.svt.se/nyheter/inrikes/kartlaggning-atta-av-tio-kommuner-planerar-besparingar

At the end of October, SVT sent a survey to all the country's municipalities. The municipalities received questions about planned savings, in what operations and on what they planned to save within the operations. SVT also asked about the reasons for the savings and whether the municipalities are planning tax increases.

214 out of 290 municipalities responded to the survey, giving a response rate of almost 74 percent. 176 of the 214 municipalities who responded stated that they will need to save, 82 percent.(!!!)

The areas are.

1. Pre-school / childcare
2. Primary / Secondary
3. Elderly care
4. Handicapped
5. Culture / leisure
6. Infrastructure / protection

Eight out of ten of the country's municipalities are planning savings in the municipalities' major core activities such as elderly care and school and education. Especially when it comes to the staff. This is evident from SVT's survey. For many of Sweden's municipalities, the money is not enough and the municipalities will have to make savings, either in the form of efficiency improvements or cuts in the coming years. "Basically, there is some kind of system failure right now, because things are going so fast," says Peter Carlstedt, municipal director in Kramfors, a municipality that is facing savings of SEK 50 million.

Six out of ten municipalities say they plan savings in school and education. Of these municipalities, 64 per cent say they should reduce staff. With regard to the school, 67 per cent say that savings in operating costs are planned.

Six out of ten municipalities say they plan savings in elderly care, and of these, 66 percent say they plan to reduce staff costs.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It depends on where in the country the municipality is located and how many immigrants we have received. Kramfors, which is a small municipality with a small population, received state support for 2 years (the 2014 deal with the massimmigration, where all Swedish municipalities received everything paid for 2 years) as compensation for the costs such as housing, SFI, grants etc. But as many other small municipalities in Sweden and the one I wrote about earlier (Filipstad) now are dealing with immigrants who after 5-10 years in the country have not yet got a job (the average is 80% unemployed in Filipstad among foreign-born). These small municipalities that do not receive as much money in equalization support as other large municipalities that have received the most immigrants cannot get their finances together as the expenses are greater than the income from municipal taxes.

Due to the rampant payments of social security contributions, one must reduce the welfare we are used to. It is precisely this that the ordinary Swede can notice in everyday life and everyone wonders what is going on. Is Sweden's economy in bad shape? Is Sweden heading into an economic depression? But all sources speak of a country that produces like never before. SEK 50 million to save on in Kramfors is a lot of money for a small population. My municipality Malmö received state support of SEK 30 Billion in 2018, that is, our municipal tax money was only enough to cover 50% of the expenditure.

Just touching on our welfare has made people pissed. Working in everyday life where you see how it can have unintended effects for the people who need it is frustrating. My workmate's daughter lives at an LSS home (housing adapted for people with physical or mental disabilities.) She lives there because her parents need to be relieved of the physical work. The daughter is severely disabled and has CP damage since birth. But now my workmate needs to go down at half time as her daughter has to spend more time at home. Through savings in the municipality of Malmö, it changes the lives of some, some of which are life-changing.

We are absolute in furious mode. Sweden who have failed us and through pure idiocy receive as many immigrants as if it were the world championship in who received the most. All its hundreds of thousands of people who suck money and make our welfare look like a joke. This is beyond all decency.

Different kinds of people respond differently to a system that can be taken advantage of for personal gain, while hurting the system and the whole itself. It was like 3% of the world's population that had a "culture" that would allow for a welfare system like Sweden's to exist without eventually collapsing. You imported a bunch of people that would 100% not be able to have that system and make it work, or else they would have and not have had to leave where they were.

There are some areas and groups of "white people" who also can not successfully build and maintain a welfare system like Sweden had. It's not like it's just based on large race demos. There's other factors as well.

they better not start jumping here for welfare

gotta send flyers that denmark and norway have very good welfare

In other news, Sweden took gold on both the ladies and gentlemen's side in the European curling championships. Although we have been under social democratic rule where the mentality has always been that we should not believe we are something. What if Sweden had the same system as the US? Then I think we had made a much bigger impact on the world order.

I would say the reason such a small country can have individuals that achieve “big things” is due to a society that allows someone to dedicate a life to perfecting an ability that might not otherwise be financially rewarding. As in the case with curling and not forcing those people into the pursuit for profits?

I don't get it. They're getting rid of welfare?

I am married to a woman who in her culture reveres her old. In harsh terms, her cluture see it is as an investment for the future and to give the children the best conditions for education and a well-paid future job. The better planning and effort by the adults will prove to be a wise investment as their children will provide for them the day they can no longer work. Usually they also live together so the children can take care of them, cook etc.

My wife got a big shock in the beginning how we deal with our old people who can not live alone and are then placed in residential homes. Most old people do not want such a home and live independently for as long as possible. But if you can't shop and complete the bathroom visit yourself, then it's time for a home where there are people who can look after you.

But she understood that in Sweden most people are employed and both women and men work equally and receive almost as much in salary. That both of them have jobs and will take care of kids plus all other social obligations has made her realize that freedom and living with the one you want weighs more than having all your relatives living under the same roof. Therefore, she dismisses her parents about their wish that we move permanently to Thailand. Her newfound freedom has changed her. She still loves them just as much, but couldn't imagine the idea of having them live in her own home.
Of course, she thinks it is still sad that in Sweden alone old people die in the hidden, when there is no family. The loneliness is just sad.

Part of welfare in Sweden is to give a recognition and a big thank you to the old ones. That they are not forgotten and just because they can no longer work, they should not feel like a burden to society, but that through good residential homes we will take good care of them the last years of their lives.

But through savings especially in this area, it has been found that those who work with the old ones have become fewer. They should write reports during working hours about each old, time they could have used to have a chat over a cup of coffee and be generally good listeners. Fewer employees means more stress and maybe they have forgotten someone in haste. There have been reports of neglect for a couple of years now. Children of the old who come to visit who find bed sores, a sign that there has been no one there for a while and that they have been lying with feces. Malnutrition due to the fact that they do not get cooked from scratch and most of it is about microwavefood with basically zero vitamins. Places that saves on the heat and gives the elderly a few extra blankets to keep warm. How can you give a blanket to the old when they have bad blood circulation and get cold quickly?

How can we treat the old in this way because others are prioritized on social contributions?

This is so fucked up.

Since we are a couple of Swedes who write on this page, it would be a good idea to have a thread on information from Sweden and immigrants. Threads have been created before about Sweden that has been heavily exaggerated, such as that it would in some places resemble pure war zones. At present we have not lost the fight against the criminals and in the next few years, 10,000 new police officers will be appointed, since we have a small police force in comparison with the rest of Europe.

With a larger population that has been added quickly through immigration, we have not kept up with the turns. We see the result now that the ordinary Swede thinks that the welfare state you have been used to has become worse. Long queues in hospitals, large classes in school and police officers who wrestles with understaffing. And for the most narrow-minded Swede, then it is easy to blame foreigners.

We are in a phase now, and unfortunately we do so by attracting with higher salaries for police officers, teachers and hospital staff. I hope and believe in a balance again in a 5-10 year. Through my work I have knowledge of information that is classified as confidential. But nevertheless, some colleagues cannot leave without writing in closed Facebook groups or as anonymous accounts on various forums such as Flashback. I think they do this not by pure evil and to make matters worse, but in their own naive knowledge that they are doing society a service by providing information that our Swedish politicians are closing their eyes on.

The Swedish social service publishes how many people have received social contributions every year. Men, women and children. There is nothing about how many foreigners or how long they have been on welfare. Why would this be important to know what origin you are from?

Malmö is Sweden's third largest city and receives the most support money from the government towards others. Much due to our geographical position, but above all how many people who are not contributing. So here are some figures you can take your mind over.

Malmö, population 330,000

- 43% of other ethnic background
- 42,000 individuals are on social assistance
- 78% of other ethnic backgrounds are on social assistance
- many have been in grants for +35 years.

When you see these numbers you get a thinker. What should one do against those who will never contribute, who do not suffer from any bodily hindrance but claim to live in the twigs of terrible traumas from the past? Contributions are part of our Swedish welfare, but it costs for our treasury. Through my own conversations I have heard amazing things what foreigners think of Sweden. Things like that we have endless money resuscitations. That Sweden has the best reputation in the world and number 1 country to escape to. That we are generous and a tolerant people. It is clear that they have a lot of information about Sweden, but something that always becomes a surprise is when they find out how much we pay in tax. And that they do not understand why we have such high taxes, precisely because we can have a welfare state.

This is a great reason that a majority chooses to open a grocery store or a small restaurant. By stating the wrong declaration, they can counteract the loss through the tax. There are a lot of cheating in Sweden, and the Swedish Tax Agency has no honest chance of catching up with all the new small business that is created around the corner. How should we in Sweden be able to attract with education and to be employed when coming from a culture where entrepreneurial who is deeply rooted and where everything can be sold under one big open market?

Anyway. I start with the week's first news from Sweden. Not obscured or excessive, just a common news of culture crashes from left wing sources.

https://www.aftonbladet.se/nyheter/a/6jVaK3/barngang-trakasserar-boende-och-hotar-att-valdta

Children gang harasses residents and threatens to rape.

Residents in Grums has problems with a gang that threatens and harasses. The unique thing is that the members of the gang are children in their 8-12 age group.

Tenants in a residential area in Grums no longer dare to let their children play alone outdoors. The reason: A group of children have repeatedly attacked, both verbally and physically, against other children and adults in the area. - They have thrown rocks or beaten with sheet metal pipes and sticks so children started to bleed. The worst thing was that a child got throttle grip that left marks. But it is also about sexual threats: "I will rape you", they say, tell a resident to Home & Rental who was the first to report on the events in Grums.

The residents recently told the situation of their tenant association, which in turn contacted the municipality and the police. Lennart Hynynen is the municipal police and found out this about three weeks ago, when the tenant association invited him and representatives from the municipality to a meeting.

- I have never experienced that such small children do such things. They have poured garbage into the mailbox of people, jerked up flowers and threatened both children and adults sexistically. The residents are afraid, he says to Aftonbladet.

The gang that terrorizes the area consists of children of new arrivals, writes Home & Rental. And according to Lennart, it becomes extra problematic when the parents do not speak Swedish.

- We will meet the parents of these children and try to explain to them what their children are doing. We really hope, for the sake of house peace, that this will end, says Lennart Hynynen.

However, he is clear that it is difficult to do anything from a police point of view. Rather, it is the municipality's social service that is connected.

- The children do not understand what this will have for consequences. The municipality must step in and help them.

Grum's social manager Lotta Österlund Jansson will during the summer invite and try to gather everyone who lives in the area on a common activity day, where one should discuss what can be done to solve the problems.

- We want to discuss openly with them how to behave and how you want it in a residential area, she says to the New Wermland newspaper and adds that after the summer, more security walks will hopefully be carried out in the area.

The tenants that Hem & Hyra talked to agree that the situation cannot continue.

- We want to be able to live here together and then this must be resolved. You really do not want to start thinking in paths like "we and them" but this is how it has become now, they say to Home & Rental.

The incidents are said to have been going on for a year, but according to police Lennart Hynynen, the threats and violence have escalated in recent months.
So... the neoliberal master plan has come true... There's a lesson to be learned from this...

I've heard nothing but good things about Sweden from the family I have that went there for work. They say it's very clean, well organized and the people are friendly and open minded.
We'll see how long that lasts... I'm not saying they had the wrong idea entirely. I believe social democracy works when you implement it the right way. But a relatively small country trying to mass import people from vastly different cultures that are largely incompatible in a short time span is a bad idea. And now they seem to be abandoning social democracy because it's not sustainable under these circumstances. Sad!

Diversity is strength!

They enrich your culture!

They come to work and are needed because sweeds do y have enough kids!

I think our leaders and media are not telling truths.

What is to be expected when you invite someone into your home who is an utter ingrate that despises your way of life and refuses to contribute?
