One of the issues they discuss is how to combat alternative media. The government agency previously ordered a report from Anne Applebaum and the Institute for Strategic Dialogue (ISD, which also happens to cooperate with George Soros and Open Society). They couldn't prove any Russian interference in Sweden but mainly focused on how to starve alternative media. The report cost the Swedish taxpayers more than $200,000.

The government knows this is the eventual outcome and that is why the Social Democrats wanted to go even further than the EU:s firearms directive mandated.

They are doing everything they can to mess with legal gun owners and hunters. This is despite the fact that legal weapons are rarely used in violent crime. A recent study showed that the number deadly crimes with the use of legal weapons are lower today than in the 90’s.

The funny thing is that the Finnish party has far more controversial guys in it than the Swedish alternative. I can't imagine a Jussi Halla-Aho ever getting away with some of his writings in Sweden. He'd probably get locked up, not just fined over some bullshit like he was in this country.

Here, he is a potential choice for the PM of this country. The media keep posting his old blogs from the 2000's and nobody gives a shit.

Unfortunately for the Swedes, the system that domesticated them, and "took care of them", is now taking them away to be butchered, like farm animals. And there's nothing they can do about it, because they're too dependent on the system. Over here, most "peasants" still have an anti-authoritarian mentality. It protects them from the system's excesses, keeps them on their toes and aware of their surroundings.

I do not agree with the first comment as most of the shootings and blasts are aimed at people who are in circles the ordinary Swede is not in. But lately innocents have come in between and it is alarming.

I'm on the same line as you about our children being Sweden's future. How they will manage with parts of our neglected country is another story.

But it all starts with kids and adults through our education systems. We need to take a harder look at the school and have a common scenario for all schools just as all grades follow more or less the same curriculum in Sweden, so the schools need to revise pedagogy that works in today's schools. The mediation is too polite and far-reaching, and the students need a more straightforward message and a respectful relationship with the teachers, where certain lines should never be crossed.

Had I been in a position of power, I would have worked hard for the introduction of school uniforms, since clothing creates common denominators such as nausea and crime, depending on the financial situation you or your parents are in. Lots of sports, no hats, shoes and religious symbols, to make the school a softer environment to stay in.

I agree with the opposition of being able to choose the kindergarten or school you want. The factors can be many besides the delusions my own party has that a class society is created because of it. Some children need more stimuli than others and therefore they should go to schools that present challenges etc. I live through the opposition's proposal by choosing a different daycare than what was assigned to us. Much of it depended on my wife, but I agree and support her decision even if her background was somewhat racist.

More leisure centers than fewer. Educated educators who know how to formulate among young people. Away with all the rogue leisure executives who had backgrounds as criminals who got jobs because of their experience. It is frivolous, to say the least, and gives signals to young 12-14 year olds that being a criminal is a natural way to go if you live in vulnerable areas. Still criminal and saying, - when you are young everyone do criminal shit, but you will mature when you get older, are some of the more stupid messages I have heard.

A man arrested in connection with the murder of the 31-year-old doctor mentioned earlier in the thread is working as a leader at one of the centers in Malmö. He has been convicted of beating a man and threatening to shoot him in the head to a parent meeting because his younger brother was unfriendly to the affected brother. Types like these should not be close to young.

I know, i grew up in a village in eastern part of the country.

Nearest police station was like 30km away lol,goverment presence was pretty much zero and any goverment official wasnt really liked.

Well, when you think about it, it's the only reason Finland even exists as an entity. Stubborness, minding one's own business, and keeping "our thing" going, even at the occasional cost of bloodshed. Even if that reputation may no longer hold, being good at fighting was pretty much the one redeeming trait for Finns throughout the centuries, from pagan times to WW2 era.

Plenty Finno-Ugric populations came and went, ended up being fully integrated to larger, more powerful civilizations, to the point where nothing distinct about them exists. They say that people like Lenin, and even Putin, had Finno-Ugric ancestry. Many Russians have, but very few of them would probably think twice about it. Originally those Russian territories were warzones contested for, by Finno-Ugrics and Slavs, and as the story of Rurik goes, some Viking rulers came over to establish a semblance of peace and order.

I consider Finland to be the last bastion for Finno-Ugrics. You could argue Estonia, Hungary, but it's difficult to say how things will stand for them a hundred years from now. Unlike the Germanics or the Slavs, we've got to hold onto what we've got, because we don't have a whole lot left.

It really is, but i think the blonde North Koreans have looked across the little pond and not liked what they saw.
Knowing that Sverigesdemokraterne is following the 'ideology' and trajectory of Dansk Folkeparti, they probably want to do what they can to sabotage SD's popularity as much as possible now.

Dansk Folkeparti used to be subjected to a similar treatment in Denmark that Sverigesdemokraterne are now in Sweden, but they just grew and grew in popularity until they could not be denied or swept under the rug as 'filthy racists' and 'stupid rednecks' etc.

Dansk Folkeparti (formerly shunned like lepers and pariahs) are now the third largest political parti in Denmark, and have been the de facto political kingmakers for more than a decade and even in the government (until recently).

Sweden is approximately 10 years behind us in terms of political "awakening", but they face much much bigger obstacles. it's a shame their incompetent politicians are more concerned with wasting time bullying SD instead of getting on with the much more urgent business of protecting their citizens.
