Surreal Moment: My old classmate is a murderer

life in florida means life...no parole

florida law mandates those who are convicted of first degree murder serve life or death penalty...no chance of parole...

My family is from Jamaica and pr. I lived in the city most my life, It's kinda sad but I have grown up around killers, and people that have been killed.

chick was in my psychology class

only thing I remember about her was at the beginning of the class the professor was asking everyone why they were taking the class. Most people just said it was part of my major or something like that. She said "I want to learn more about my kid"

I remember surpisingly not being that surprised about it. Don't know why, just maybe too cynical at the time.

heres another story about some of the people i was classmates with. ive known this guy named jamaris since like 1st grade, real funny dude but hella dumb. he could be real cool sometimes but a lot of times he was annoying. he would bitch at you over pennies! he would literally fight people over spare change. well he misses school one day (junior year of hs) and on the news when i get home is this.

dude was a big time dope dealer. richer than all of us, had stashes of cocaine and would pull blades and shit on people over quarters and dimes :rolleyes: wtf man. one day i was at his house playing ball and he tried to sell me a machine gun! haha

My neighbor intentionally ran over my other neighbor in April and killed him. The poor guy he ran over was 73. I don't know what his motive was, but I think they were arguing about money.

Hawaii is pretty fucking cool, you have to actively seek cool stuff out, but nothing can compare to climbing up a cliff side and jumping into a river after sneaking in with a group your friends or climbing through lava tubes in the darkness with tiny flash lights slipping on the rock ground. Surfing in the Ocean, Watching Snow and Lava, and petting turtles.

The wall is tiny and everything is green but we find time for fun, I used to hate it, estranged at home, but not anymore :)
 
That would indeed be creepy!

I don't think I know any murderer but a classmate of mine was murdered 7 years ago. He was stabbed to death by a junkie. My friend couldn't stand being alone so he opened up his home for everyone. He attracted a lot of "not" so good friends that ate his food and hanged around. One day, one of those "friends" got angry and thought that my classmate were about to throw him out (which wasn't the case) and stabbed him.

Those people are/were crazy drunks. The property where the murder occurred is now condemned as a result of Hurricane Sandy. Recently the cops had to drag out one of the former residents to get him to the hospital because he broke into the house and passed out on the broken glass and debris that was scattered from the storm.

There has also been a startling amount of child abduction attempts right around my neighborhood too, but that's a whole different story.
 
This was a crazy event, thanks for the stories everyone its putting things in perspective.
