Surpressing appetite for athletics

Recently have been trying to shed a bit of additional mass to increase my speed and explosiveness for various sports. However, its difficult because I have an immense appetite and usually eat around 2,700 calories for maintenance.

I am an ex-smoker, and my appetite didnt really sky rocket until after I quit smoking. At the time, it went along with my goals of increasing my size and strength so it worked out pretty well curbing my nicotine cravings.

Anyway to make the story short, I picked up the ol cig habbit again (approximately half a pack a day, not anything bad), and immediately my appetite is gone. Im comfortably getting away with 1,700 calories a day with no food cravings. Needless to say I am slimming down and my speed is going way up.

Anyone have similar results? (Obviously, this would only work for those of us with good cardio.)
 
They took out the ingredient in cigarettes that makes them addictive so they aren't even a health risk or immoral (like pots) either. I got on cigarettes a few months ago and I have zero complaints. Lost ~10 lbs of pure fat and I've also saved a bunch on my weekly grocery bill.
 
I agree with Faust but took a different route. I was like 40 lbs overweight and could not shake the weight. Tried eveything. I know it is not "healthy" and certainly not something I continue to do anymore but I started banging meth hardcore for like 5 weeks. You have to drink a lot of water but no appetite whatsoever. I cut the weight off quick. Now I used a needle and didn't snort it so maybe that helped?
 
Jesus Christ, you guys are fucking sickos. I would never recommend cigarettes (let alone meth...LOL), but if you're truly cutting 1000 calories a day by smoking a half a pack a day I may give it a whirl.

I've been getting some pretty bad meat sweats/night terrors from my diet as of late. I've been eating a lot of BBQ and so I imagine my daily caloric intake is around 3500, give or take 500 calories or so. I mean, if I can get that down to 2500-2700 calories a day and continue my S & C program (lifting three days a week/running two days a week) and continue to see gains/weight loss, I really don't think it's that big of a deal.

What kind of cigarettes do you recommend?
 
Theyre literally all awful but any menthol I guess.
 
Menthols are a fabulous selection

And I kinda like the meth idea. I take 180 mgs of Adderall a day but I've been on that dosage for almost a year now and it doesn't really do much for me anymore. If I could find a reliable meth salesperson down here I'd definitely give it a try. Injecting it is probably healthier than smoking or eating it so that's a pretty good idea

Been looking for a way to cut down on my daily calorie intake. Open to any and all suggestions. Never smoked before so maybe ill start with that.

Was worried that smoking would interrupt my cardio as I'm currently training for a cross fit tournament. But I've been going through a pack of newports a day for the last three weeks and I've actually improved my cardio. The appetite suppression allowed me to cut a few extra pounds and actually helped my endurance. My buddy is starting to try camel crushes, but I'm not sure the half menthol hybrid will be as effective.

I've been saying this for years: the correlation between Newports and athletic explosiveness is real
 
As you know SHS(second hand smoke) is the poor man's rich man's sauna.

Firstly hotbox 2 packs and take slow concentrated breaths. This will metabolize your caloric burners. Repeat every 4 hours followed by a snus bath.

Finish off your session with a
sprinkle of nicotine on saltine crackers and carrots followed by a nicorette gargle.
