Super punch out was a s***** sequel

It was still a fun game, it had a few things that the original lacked, like what was mentioned Little Mac was a great character as a little pint sized guy up against an assortment of giants, and Mac with rather weightless punches outside of the uppercut which was hilarious. The sequel you didn't have that same underdog appeal and always felt weighter and deadlier with punches especially powered up which wasnt too hard to do. The error of margin also felt a lot different most of the time. Tyson uppercuts, Sandman uppercuts and plenty of others had moves that could wreck in a hit or a few more.

Secondly, the opponents in the original all had soooo much character and charm in terms of looks and design and their telegraphs. Maybe a bit too culturally stereotypical for modern audiences unfortunately.
