Sup?

NRG stadium and you will be there? Get ASU to agree to be there as well and I think I can make that happen. Im pretty sure I still have a USAPL membership.
You don't need me there, just make sure to come through on this one. You dropped out of the last meet you signed up for and that was VERY disappointing.

@ROcknrollracing If you were to try to total all 3 lifts in a single day sometime this month, what do you think you'd get? Even using your best #s which seem to be scattered throughout time, it doesn't seem like it's going to happen.
Yes they are definitely scattered. I’m not entirely sure, my best guess is something like 1250-1300 based off of submaximal singles I’ve recently done. Anyways I will register for the meet and do it during the summer seems like a decent challenge to settle this non sense. Also it is relatively stupid to pay somebody to have your lifts officially judged when nobody in reality cares what your total is in the real world.

Powerlifting American Classic Nationals, I'll be there April 4-7, you can research the rest of the details through the link. Can't wait to finally see you smash these weights! I know you'll be there because you are always good on your word!
Hahaha I’m not making a trip to Georgia just to sit there for 3 hours waiting to lift 9 attempts I don’t even like the sport that much. I am planning on going to the one drew pointed out since Houston is like 2 hours away and I’ll likely have something to do baseball related on that day anyways.

If those #s are correct and your weight stays relatively the same, I'd be impressed if you total 1500 by the meet in June.

I very likely could if I cared about this that much. I doubt I will total 1500 in 4 months time but I will try. I will be satisfied with a 1400 total as Im not going to go all out programming wise just to total 1500. I am more interested in baseball anyways and I would be no good to my team by fatiguing myself every night on a full blow powerlifting program just to total 1500 in 4 months.

That makes sense, baseball is more of a priority for you at this point in life. Who knows what kind of total you could put up if you were fully invested in powerlifting. Maybe 2k at 190?

Mighty tough talk from guy that is fully invested in lifting and has only squat 512 pounds.

I’m genuinely curious how you think you would total 1500. You’re fairly tall and I think you’re close to being a masters lifter. I could see you going 500/330/600 if you put in some time and had a 9/9 perfect meet. The problem is you’re not really exceptionally strong or explosive. If you had one lift that you were exceptional at you might get close to 1500, but your sbd numbers are too low.

By gorging myself and training with a Bulgarian program.

You are certainly entitled to believe whatever you think strong is. Having a strong SBD means you are strong in that specific context. Strength is specific.

There are many ways to get strong for sports and you choose barbell movements, you absolutely love it.

You already backed out of one meet in the past few years, don't let us down this time.

What do you mean I backed out of a meet? How else would you get strong for sports?
