Summery in March (SCO v 31)

So I guess all that's left is to just read the report if we ever get a chance to. I don't really care all that much because whatever it says clearly wont lead to anyone getting in anymore trouble. The SDNY investigation is the only thing people have left to hold out hope for but I don't think that matters until after Trump leaves office.

And even then, the SDNY is under the control (or watchful eye, to be more accurate) of Barr so if he feels the NY AG's reason trying to prosecute Trump are Political or there's any funny-business, something tells me he won't "cuck out" like Sessions.

I think if he ever does admit it, it will be long after Trump finishes his 2nd term and is out of his office (ie. once all the hoopla dies down).

Wish he'd just come out with it. Everyone pretty much already knows.

You’re going to be disappointed again. Mueller actually did exonerate Trump on the collusion allegation. He did not reach a conclusion on the obstruction question, but Barr did: no obstruction. You are grasping at straws. It will only prolong your suffering.

Can't understand why it's so difficult for some here to grasp that the results are the results which are No Collusion and No Obstruction???? <JagsKiddingMe><JagsKiddingMe><JagsKiddingMe>

The problem is you guys are taking a victory lap too soon. No one should be basing their views on a summary coming from a Trump appointee (one who communicated his dislike of the investigation before getting the job). And McConnell blocked the full release of the report today. if it exonerates Trump why block it? I'd want it public.

Because that's what Trump says, not what Mueller says? Why would people take Trump at his word? You're asking a weird question with an obvious answer. You do know that Barr is a Trump cabinet member and not impartial right?

Legal opinion on what? A report that hasn't been released? Barr's assessment of a report that hasn't been released?

The odds of finding a smoking gun linking to Trump was always a long shot on the collusion angle. As for obstruction, a bit more likely with what we knew already, but still can't make a comment until the report is released.

Until then, keep comparing me to a multi-millionaire paralegal (who you thought was a constitutional scholar) like it's some sort of sick burn.

Except there is no "bit more likely" when Barr said there was no Obstruction. {<hhh]

this has been a given since the 6 pm dump on Friday afternoon

Didn't the Senate confirm Barr or did I miss something?

Trump didn't "appoint him" like he did Whitaker.

You do know that Barr is the fucking ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR THE UNITED STATES, right? <LikeReally5>

You have got to be trolling....you can't be THAT clueless unless you're doing it on purpose.

And btw, what do you mean "That's what Trump says"?

The Summary of the Mueller report stated there was no Collusion.

You're all trolling.

You have to be trolling....you can't be THIS stupid.

Did he say there was no obstruction, or did he say the report did not exonerate Trump of obstruction, and that it contained evidence that he did obstruct, and that he did not? He decided not to legally pursue it, but that was his judgement call. He's the one to decide, so he can do that, but don't forget what he said about the report.

IMO it's better to be truthful and accurate.

White House released the originals
Just googled it and couldn't find it. All I got about it was Cohen supplying The House with what he said were edits to the original in closed door testimony.

I've got just a bit more hair on my head left than this guy, though.

Looks like Mitch McConnell doesn't want the report made public...

"WASHINGTON, March 25 (Reuters) - U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell on Monday blocked a second attempt by Democrats to pass a measure aimed at prodding the Justice Department to release to the public Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report on Russian meddling in the 2016 U.S. presidential election."
