Summery in March (SCO v 31)

What do you think will happen when the (almost) full Mueller report is released?
Just that everyone will have a chance to read it. For discourse, it's important that it's out from a source most people see as impartial. Barr ain't that. It will be what it will be, I dont have any particular predictions on what it will say, will likely at the very least make Barr's political stunt (a clever one) a wash with the info that reflects poorly on Trump.

For Trump, the SDNY stuff is the problem, the rest is just fodder for Trump to play the victim and for the House to continue to investigate. I can't really imagine it's incredibly damaging info, but we'll find out.

Hope you don't mind if I quote you on that. o_Oo_Oo_O
I've said since the beginning I trust Mueller no matter the conclusion . As much as I do hate tRUmp, I really do hope Mueller found zero coordination between Russia/ tRUmp, people connected to Putin/tRUmp, Wikileaks/tRUmp . Nothing would be worse than a POTUS who conspired with a hostile entity

The letter could leave out important information from the Mueller report without contradicting the report. That's what he's going with, I think.

Unless the letter contradicts Mueller’s findings, it shouldn’t matter. The Left is hoping Mueller’s report contains prejudicial information—irrelevant info that “sounds bad”—so they can have Rachel Maddow spin it into another shit storm. Fuck that noise. There is no more “wait and see.” They got their Special Counsel, now they will accept his conclusions.

it was a lawyerly letter, with spin and with Barr SUGGESTING that Mueller left it to him, for example, to decide on Obstruction. Literally nobody believes that is the case but Barr has every right to offer his opinion. If it says in the Mueller report that Mueller believed it should be left to congress, Barr will have hurt his reputation and he will have some 'splainin to do, regardless of his rights to offer his opinion and judgement, because that's not what he is inferring in the letter. Barr also refrained from quoting the Mueller report for a reason...and it wasn't because it benefited him or Trump...to put it mildly.

Sorry, but sounds desperate. Barr has nothing to explain. His word is good as gold. Just accept that it’s over. You were wrong, Trump was right, and it’s over.

that may be, but he will be required to so that's sort of moot.

It's over when the House says it's over. Trump can say he's been cleared, and the House can and will verify that. Not sure why transparency bothers you (yes I am).

The House can eat a fat orange dick. Please, impeach an innocent President. Make it a 2020 campaign issue. Release the Mueller report. I don’t care.

What is 'Barr's political stunt'?
I have no interest in this sort of nonsense word parsing back and forth. If you don't yet understand why that letter was a political stunt, nothing I can say will clarify it for you.

And you and Barr would get along, I wrote a large response to you and you literally quoted 5 words of it.

I understood the rest of your post. I did not understand what you meant by "Barr's political stunt". That is why I am asking you to clarify.

Agreed. Anyone that conspires with an Enemy of our Country deserves to be shot, imo.

From all indications, based on what the Summary stated(and I have no reason to believe Barr would say the opposite of what Mueller concluded), there was no collusion with Russia.

Plus, apparently Trump or Trump's team said "Go fuck yourself" to Russia when they tried to offer them their "services".

Oh btw.....

Ex-FBI boss says firing by Trump could be ‘obstruction’

I believe this is called "throwing shit against the wall and seeing what sticks". <36>

Comey, as an attorney, knew full-well that the President was in his full rights to fire him at any time he felt he wanted to for any reason.

It had nothing to do with the ongoing Russia investigation, but rather his inept ability to conduct a criminal investigation.

He is a disgrace to the law enforcement community.

Surely he's not out there talking because his ass might get dragged in to testify...

Michael Isikoff, Chief Investigative Correspondent at Yahoo! News and co-author of Russian Roulette: The Inside Story of Putin's War on America and the Election of Donald Trump. The FBI used Isikoff's article of 23 September 2016 to justify the surveillance of Trump adviser Carter Page.

: The [Steele] dossier did set expectations, and it did shape what people were looking for and what they thought might have happened. It was endorsed multiple times on MSNBC. People were saying, "it's more and more proving to be true", and it wasn't! In fact, I think one of the reasons people were so surprised by the Mueller finding is that it undercuts almost everything that is in the dossier, which postulated a well-developed conspiracy between the Russians and the Trump campaign. That's what got people worked up initially, and we do have to acknowledge that, that which was alleged has not panned out.

....

We did see a lot of this just in the court filings that Mueller was making. Take the Roger Stone indictment. Everybody got all worked up about the idea that Trump was using Stone to find out what Wikileaks had. Well, go back to what the original allegation was in the dossier! It was that it was all a well-developed conspiracy and the Trump campaign was in on it from the beginning. Which means they wouldn't have needed Roger Stone to find out what Wikileaks had. If the allegations in the dossier were true, [the Trump campaign] already knew what they were.

I think it's safe to say the Dossier is mostly Bullshit and outright lies.

There will always be die hard drones that argue it. Just like some will argue Pizzagate and other CTs.

Shit, Pizzagate has more going for it than most the dribble in the Dossier. Takes a true partisan to argue the validity of it.

only way he continues with it is if it's made clear in the Mueller report.

The election is already over if dipshit Trump actually gets his way with this healthcare nonsense. Talk about stupid, he's got several more weeks to milk this lie that he was cleared of all improprieties before the actual Mueller report drops, should have just stuck to that. while he could.

He can't help himself. He's always looking for a fight. In the past he looked for them because he could buy/litigate himself to a win more often than not. Now he can't do that.
