The only time I ever put a player's name on the back of my MUFC shirt was for Poborsky. He Veron and Forlan were the most frustrating players we signed. Really good players who had excellent careers, just never clicked for us. Hope di Maria doesn't join that group.

Spending money wisely is the key, and that is something we have been poor at thus far.

We've spent 300m, since SAF retired, 2 years ago!!!!! Of the players signed, not one has been an out and out success imo, although the jury is still out on a few.

We really need to challenge for the league this season. Labouring to 4th again will be a massive disappointment.

I think you are judging it all rather early. The amount of squad overhaul takes time and a number of our purchases have now had the year they needed to get used to the league, including our Manager.

I agree we should compete for the title this coming season. No excuses.

That's kinda my point. It should be evolution not revolution....SAF is obviously partly to blame here as well.

2-3 ins and 2-3 outs per year is normally a good winning formula. Not 5-6.




I'm not judging early, rather annoyed it got to this stage. I'm very hopeful for Shaw, Rojo, Herrera, Depay and di Maria this year.

I think this year will be a lot closer with the top 4 making it a close fight to the end, could honestly make a case for all big 4 winning it.
