Watching all the kicking and screaming and gnashing of teeth by all these comic book experts as this movie became a massive success has as entertaining as the movie itself.

Suicide Squad is now at about 710million. Winter Solider made 714.5million total. I wonder if Suicide Squad will beat it before it's run ends.

It will. Absolutely. I've been completely caught off guard by the past few weeks. The trend from week two and three (which were splitting MoS and BvS) put it right around $305mil domestic and $660mil worldwide. But it had a fantastic labor day weekend and the holds have improved by a few points outside that (plus foreign is also holding far stronger than I would have thought) and it's now looking more like $322 domestic and $736mil worldwide.

- Man of Steel was ok. Henry Cavill isn't bad but he's a very unlikable superman. The story and flashbacks were bad. Zod and his crew were cool. Final battle was great. 6/10

- Batman v Superman was a good movie. I went into it expecting the worst. Lexus Luther was garbage. This is the best Batman IMO, rated R Batman. Wonderman is great. Supes still wakes up every morning thinking of ways he can possibly kill himself.

The Batman vs Superman battle was good but it was sloppy writing. Batman just had to put kryptonite in the bullets. The final battle was really good. 8/10

- Suicide Squad was pure garbage, start to finish. This should've been a Rated R movie. Had so much potential. They had to make it pg13 for the $$ and knew they couldn't have a violent movie, so they made it a zombie flick. 4/10

I just saw it and thought it was pretty bad unfortunately, lots of plot holes, lack of logic in the characters actions and motivations.

The stories are way too long to be crammed into a 2 hr movie.

Netflix has figured it out with the Daredevil series, hopefully Punisher is just as good.

I enjoyed it. People will shit on some of the plot holes but I was more interested in the characters themselves anyway, not so much the situation they were in. Harley Quinn and her relationship with the Joker. Rick Flag and his desire to protect his love Enchantress. Diablo's pain over what he did to his family. Deadshot and his anger toward Batman, and his chemistry with Harley. Amanda Waller and the lengths she'll go to achieve her objectives.

I kind of equate it to DC's version of Guardians of the Galaxy. I couldn't tell you what the movie GotG was about. I don't remember it. But I do remember all the different personalities and how they interacted with one another.

Suicide Squad was pretty shit. I did enjoy Ben Hur and The Girl on the Train, which also got bad reviews.
