Parasite Eve (ps one)
Conkers Bad Fur Day (Nintendo 64)
Duke Nukem
Leisure Suite Larry (PC)

Max Payne
Fallout 3 & New Vegas (ps3)
GTA Vice City (ps2)
Scarface:The World is Yours (ps2)
The Punisher (ps2)
Manhunt (ps2)

For a good time, I like watching gamers trying old NES games for the first time blind. Knowing exactly where they are going to get pissed off lol

This dude trying to go down the reaper Hallway and then facing death with no health and then realizing he is getting sent back to the start of the level is LOL

Bonus reactions. When the same dude played Ninja Gaiden and died in the fight with your father after HOURS of playing 61, 6-2 and 6-3 not knowing if you die against the boss you get kicked back to 6-1... Its priceless when this happens LOL

Let's see them try Ninja Gaiden III...

Really fun and really underrated.

3 is easier than 1. No respawn, nerfed knockback + super sword + way less cheap shit.

The initial difficulty is due to the limited continues. But once you've played it a few times, you cruise.

I thought it was way more difficult when I was younger. But the part of me that found the turbo tunnel in battletoads easy is the part that makes ninja gaiden 3 easier.

2 is definitely the easiest due to the cheap 3 ninja clones

Now battletoads level Terra tubes and volkmire volcano....those still give me nightmares

Those can make the game easier, but besides the limited continues, you take more damage, the time limit (ACT VII cannot be beaten without a death unless you have the fire wheel), dying sends you back to the beginning of the section you're on, and continuing sends you to the beginning of the level.

I'd say Ninja Gaiden 1 is the easiest due to the jump and slash technique. Have problems with birds? Jump and Slash. Want to one shot a boss? Jump and Slash. It wrecks everything in it's path with ease.

However, I agree with Terra Tubes. Hardest level in the game, IMO.

Not sure if this one was already mentioned, absolutely deserves to be remastered and experienced

Another JRPG classic from a bygone era when Japan was dominating the game market just like they were dominating the MMA market

Point-and-click adventures, Sam & Max Hit the Road and Full Throttle, were both great. They were made by LucasArts which had a lot of success in the genre.

Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb was a fantastic play (but I could never get past the gondola part.)

Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 were the basis for half of Bioware's success formula. Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 1& 2 were the other half.

PC game, Freedom Force, was awesome. It was like a small team superhero RTS. Loads of custom skins, recipes, and campaigns were available until Marvel and DC racked one in the chamber and made the fansites back off.

Freedom Force, being based off of comic books actually had an eventual comic spin off!

The main character, is probably role model to a lot of Sherdoggers.

Hi.. care to elaborate on the last bit about DC and Marvel?

I remember briefly playing this game. I remember it being quite funny.

People were making custom skins and models and even campaigns with voice acting, animation, and music and everything. Marvel and later DC started hitting the sites for copyright issues.

I can see an argument for 3, but I disagree personally.
I don't see any universe where ninja gaiden 2 is considered harder than 1. Its almost universally agreed upon that 2 was easier. Those shadow clones made the game a much fairer game. You also don't get kicked several levels back when you die at the end

Ninja gaiden 1 is an easy game for the first 2 levels, and then still easy but a bit harder for level 3 and 4. 5 ramps up to hard, but fair.

Its level 6 that's crazy. 6-2 in particular. Almost everyone gets stuck on 6-2 for an extended period. Especially in the hall of doom. And then the kickback to 6-1 if you lose against a boss is lol

I dunno. I don't think the shadow clones were as powerful as this:
