Posted here because we never got a proper 3d upgrade to the mega man series. Yes the 2D games are occasionally being made but Mega Man isn't a household name like it was back in the day.

It’s strange how 35 years ago the three biggest series on Nintendo were Mario, Zelda and Mega Man and these days Mario and Zelda are still on top while Mega Man’s glory days effectively ended like 28 years ago.

It’s because Mega Man is from Capcom, while Mario and Zelda are from Nintendo. Nintendo’s in-house developers are the best on planet earth. All they do is make world class video games.

Agree that Nintendo makes world class games. Do not sleep on Sony and their first party studios though.. they have several classics and nrilliant new IP for the modern era;

I’m not sleeping on them. They just can’t, don’t, and never will compare with Nintendo’s in-house talent. Sony and Microsoft are electronics companies making video games. Nintendo is a video game company making video games. It’s just a different mentality.

Plus, Nintendo is largely immune to the American woke mind virus, which is why they don’t wreck their IPs the way EA or Naughty Dog have done with some of the retarded choices they’ve made with their flagship titles. Mario or Link will never die in their games and be replaced by Princess Peach or Zelda, for example.

And while Sony is all about censoring their games to make them less sexy, it is Nintendo, ironically, leading the way by refusing to engage in such practices.

Chrono trigger is up there with ff7 as most overrated games ever. It's not a bad game. It's very milque toast tho
