buakaw doesn't have bad boxing he just chose to stick with his bread and butter

As others have said, Buakaw has outpunched so called boxers and often won exchanges when he had to.

Though i agree punching isn't his primary game. That left leg of his is almost as fast as a jab.

Buakaw is probably the best boxer out of the Thais, except for Maybe Jomthong or Samart who both have actual pro boxing experience.
