I wasn’t impressed with Mathias in his last fight, he looked predictable and ran out of ideas. Thought he was lucky to get the nod tbh. I think smith is a tough fight for him stylistically. Hes technically better, has great feet and hits hard enough to keep anyone honest. I think he beats Mathias! And if he does I think there’s a good chance they can set up a fight with azim, finally.

Yeah. As much of a Matias fan that I can be I think Smith has the tools to pull this. I'll still be rooting for him, of course.

win or lose, Matias is always in fun fights. he has a very visually pleasing style. but i think he's at or just about reached his skill ceiling.

His fights against Paro and vs Valenzuela were major disappointments at the ticket sales in the island. Matias is not a big name in the island. Does not have a big following. His promoter Fresh promotions should have allowed Turki to overpay for this crap.
