Just got back from the Doc and after looking at the MRI he diagnosed me with subacromion bursitis. I was wondering if anyone here has ever had it and how long it took them to get back to training again?

    Thanks

It depends on how serious it is and on the history and mechanism of injury (why it happened in the first place, whether the injury was acute or chronic, how long you've had it for, etc.).

What was the doc's answer in regard to how long it will take you to get back to training?

Did your doc ask you anything?
Have you had your uric acid tested lately? Old rotator cuff injury?

Currently just getting back to near full training after an inflamed bursa in my shoulder.

He did stop short of calling it Bursitis however.

I have been out about 2 months now, but this is longer than usuall because I was a fucking idiot and trained through it making it worse.

Make sure you keep your shoulders back (no Slouching).
Ensure you computers mouse is near you, not way out to the side.

I will happily give you details of the exercises my physio prescribed if you want them, Just ensure you quote me or pm so I know to come back to this thread.
