Economy Study: Middle Class Is Over

When did I ever say I was against workers rights? Are you reduced to that now?

Once again, I’m saying seek out the companies that do the right thing. It’s not that hard. Do a simple google search in between your wailing

I dont think this is a viable solution at all. Many people would not even think of it. What we ought to do instead is use our democracy to demand legislation that protects workers rights and wages so that the average Joe doesn't have to do a google search comparison store by store to buy a fucking pair of shoes.

He got to write the message for Voyager though.

It’s not that hard. There are great companies out there. Just easier to bitch than do

Good luck forcing AMZN to pay there employees a fair wage or supply them with ample Health Insurance by asking politicians to force them to

You have been reduced to the same stupid talking point this whole time, so don't give me that crap. You are on repeat and think that you have me in a "gotcha" moment. You say you are for workers rights, yet are calling someone out for saying we need more rights for workers. Let that sink in before you reply.

You got your dumb assumptions about me. Good job on that, way to avoid any really conversation.

You still haven’t even clarified what these new rights are u want for workers

You are lazy. Typical American that screams for things you are not even man enough to follow yourself

My assumptions were correct. You basically admitted you do not seek good companies

An actual limit on the amount of hours employers can make people work.

Actually requirements for giving workers breaks.

The right to refuse work overtime after a certain amount of hours in a week.

Wages that keep up with inflation.

Which state do workers not get breaks or are required to work 60 hours straight?

Dude, you should definitely stop using AMZN and spend your money at COST. You will feel a lot better about yourself

Wages that keep up with inflation could be a problem. Some business might not be able to. But you could spend your bucks at places that do

Well your solution will never work because the numbers of people who do it will never rise high enough whereas the legislative solution may well be within our grasp in the future.

Up to you, be part of the problem or do the right thing

"Missouri law does not require employers to provide employees a break of any kind, including a lunch hour. These provisions are either left up to the discretion of the employer, can be agreed upon by the employer and employee, or may be addressed by company policy or contract."

Leftists enable people to have a shit ton of kids and getting carried by the rest of us.

Leftists absolutely suck.

He knows this he is just being a douchebag. He doesn't research what the manufacturer of a product pays it's employees. That's why his stupid argument is idiotic.

Your point was pointless.

Bottom line, grow some balls and actually back up your talk. Find companies that are fair. There are many out there

Firstly what talk should I back up????
My point has been that the split in wealth distribution is tied to the minimum wage.

Secondly I am an investment advisor who specialises in ethical investments. I am more aware of the difficulties in assessing supply chains then 99.9% of the population and if you think you know the supply chain of even a tenth of companies you deal with I am certain I know vastly more than you.

It's a good step to choose socially responsible companies but it's not a workable solution overall.

How about don't live in Los Angeles/Seattle/NY if you aren't working a decent job with a decent wage. Most people in America are poor because they work low paying jobs in cities with a high cost of living.
Okay, are you ready to give more of your paycheck to the government so these poor people can have funds to move their shit out of the city?

You're talking millions of people who would then need millions of homes to live in these dirt cheap rural areas. So then when they move and there's not enough housing are you ready to give more tax dollars to build section 8 housing?

What a stupid fucking idea. Back to the drawing board you go.
